Announcing "Float with Friends"

I think I've got the next little while bolted down as far as plans are concerned, so I figured I might as well make a post about that.

My current plans are:

1) Two un-released single-shot renders

2) Fixing up Vanessa's hair rig a bit

3) "Float with Friends" image sequence

Originally I was going to wait until I had some more rigging stuff ready, but I sorta feel like I'm never going to get anything done if I'm constantly trying to finish other things first. Plus, it's not like any single image pack is a "final" thing- most of my work is a massive rolling project, so I'm always going to have another chance to make more packs as I create new scenes and other assets to fool around with.

That being said, my next image pack is likely going to focus on hourglass inflation and buoyancy dynamics between Jessica and Vanessa in the poolside scene. I'm currently targeting 20+ panels, though I'm sure it'll probably land up being more than that once I've got the script finished. The general idea will be to have one character inflate first so I can contrast this with the other (who's still reasonably heavy), followed by the second inflating and following the first up to the roof. I've always had a fondness for one character acting as the tether for another (especially if the inflatee is a bit inexperienced at the whole hourglass ballooning thing), so that's exactly what I want to explore in this sequence.

I will be running things a bit differently for the sequence, however. Sequin Floatoshoot was a bit of a train wreck on my end because I was constantly trying to update dozens of existing posts while posting new WIPs of finished poses. Patreon's editor kinda sucks for this and I landed up wasting a lot of time doing that.

So for this sequence, I will likely be grouping everything together into several large posts, instead of one post per picture. Those posts will be edited directly (and notifications will be sent out when they are), since it's far easier to delete a dozen images in a single post and re-upload those than it is to go through 24 individual posts and update each and every one of those by hand.

Likewise, I will be handling the release similar to Sequin Floatoshoot where the WIPs will be removed and replaced with rendered previews when the sequence is done. At that point, all existing Patreons will receive links to the pack for free. Anyone else will have to purchase the pack through e-Junkie for a one time fee.

On a good night, I can usually get 3-4 poses done, though I estimate between that and redoing anything I don't like, this will probably land up being a ~2 week project once I get started.

Anyways, if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions for some stuff you might want to see- please let me know in the comments and I'll see what I can do (no promises for specific poses though).

Sounds good, thanks for the plan. Ambitious!
