Added 2024-09-30 18:01:26 +0000 UTCWell, I guess that is the end. I think as a critic this was an amazing series with a very reasonable ending but as a bl fan/shipper it was a horrible ending. The people we watch weekly are obviously in love with each other but aren't together at the end. Young children are forced to make life's biggest choices is not reasonable, hope to see them in the future, older and ready to love.

finally watching your reaction right now. The way I screamed when you totally missed Wang‘s final death blow calling Tian „brother“ as a farewell. That’s why Tisn was screaming in pain on the staircases. Not because they are not on the same class together but because Wang clearly drew the line. That even cleared the speculation for me about his possible homophobia. He has none. He was so in love with Wang.

Btw, I hope the season 2 picks up the ending since the ending of season 1 is like only halfway in the novel, theres still the semifinal competition and theres still a lot that happens in the novel before the said time jump. so hoping for Season 2
