Power Cultivator in Honkai c3

Jogging or running became something irrelevant by this point.

I easily crossed the distance and arrived at school. It took me less than 5 minutes instead of the usual 15 minutes of walking.

Even then, I began to fear for my shoes… I don’t think they were made for someone who has borderline supernatural abilities.

Regardless, they were holding in decently, for now.

Like before, I paid attention to the class and did homework for the other classes, as I haven’t done homework for two days now.

Thankfully, I was able to do it without teachers getting too suspicious.

After the classes, I began to ponder what to do.

‘I know… my Mind Cultivation is close to a breakthrough.

So let’s do that first.’

I went to the attic and set up my alarm for late evening. 

Once the preparations were done, I began to meditate.

With a mere thought, I entered the Zen state and was in the darkness, and the golden way appeared before me. Without wasting time, I began to seek the golden star in the distance.

For the first time, I could run towards it. But… it didn’t feel that it was getting closer, no, it was like nothing was happening.

Like I was running in place. But then… the efforts began to pay out. The golden star began to get closer and closer, growing in size.

Alarm Sound

My eyes snapped open. As I realised I was sitting in the darkness…of my attic.

It was dark already, yet it felt like I was running for just a few minutes… tops.

Or hours? 

Honestly, it was confusing, now that I could think about it.

Regardless, after looking around, I stood up and took my phone before walking downstairs.

Midway, I opened the window and checked my progress.

‘So…around 6 hours of meditation and all I got was around two small level-ups.’

I frowned for a bit. But progress is progress.

After arriving in the kitchen, I began with my cooking. I noticed that things looked brighter. I went almost on autopilot. A mere thought, and my body did it.

It was becoming absurd how much the mind impacts everything. There is no longer any uncertainty.

I simply want it to lead to doing it.

“...Oh my! What are you doing?” My mother’s voice brought me out of my thoughts.

“Something? Testing out my talent.” 

“...Hmm. Mixing up chicken, vegetables… and some sort of sauce?” She looked confused for a second before looking at me.

“Are you making something Asian?” The woman had no idea what it was!

“More precisely, Thailand. I think I saw this on TV once.” 

Perfectly honest, I have no idea. It was an obscure memory, like watching one of those cooking shows on TV randomly and paying a bit of attention at that time.

And bam… months if not years later, I remember how to do…everything! That is wild power to say the least.

Very useful.

“Once? I don’t know, honey.” She shook her head for a second.

“Well, we will see.”

I smiled for a second, as soon enough the food was done, and it was time to taste it.

“...Hmm… not bad!” 

“I know, right?” 

The pair of us nodded as we dug in.

Not long after that, it was time to hit the sack, and for me to have the breakthrough!

I swiftly went to meditate in my bed. Returning to the darkness and walking the golden path.

The star before me began to grow bigger and bigger.

Until I could make out what it was.

A golden lotus flower, spinning slowly like nothing around it could change that fact.

My hand gently went there and tried to pick it up. But the flower simply disappeared; instead, something inside of me bloomed.

“...what the…” 

I snapped out and looked around. I realised that I was in my room. It was still dark outside.

My eyes went to my hand. ‘Oh, damn’

Gold ghostly energy was glowing from me instead of golden particles, not only that, but… things just made sense now?

The golden rod, the trip, and the lotus power.

It was cultivation in the most literal sense. The walking and running generate energy, and reaching the flower was the release of gathered energy, causing an evolution or more like a breakthrough, of the power.

With thought, I summoned my Dharma Body; it was different, very different. There were layers of energy around it.

Like layers of onions, not only that, but it had a set of armour now as well—medieval, knight-like armour.

It was crazy! To think that the day before it was a mere ghost-like existence. But now…

It could change sizes as well!

“Well, well.”

I got up from my bed and swiftly dressed up. I checked the clock, and it was just past two after midnight. I have 5 hours to test out my powers.

‘But first, I should check the window.’

“...what does that even do?”

After pondering for a bit, I shook my head. Well, whatever, I should be able to figure that out soon.

After dressing up and leaving my room, I looked around. As if knowing I looked towards the direction of my parents' bedroom, I saw that my mother was sleeping. 

It’s like I was able to see through the walls, like a ghost.

‘Oh… that is cool! I guess this is what the system meant by spiritual awakening. My soul got strong enough to do this kind of stuff!’

‘Or is it my mind? Something like that.’

I pondered for a bit. 

‘I see, so mind is closely related to soul. It makes sense. Something like a spill-over effect.’

Then I realised that I was standing in the kitchen like some idiot.

I swiftly went out; my movements were extremely silent, as if I was aware of every smallest movement and could execute them without any worries!

The next thing that I tested was the improved body cultivation.

With my improved Dharma body, I was able to jump on the roof of a suburban house and gently land on it.

It was almost like gliding.

‘Oh, I see! So this is like that!’

The spiritual awakening was not just some sort of ability to zoom in and look through walls. But it was like a tactical pause and the ability to ponder mid-fight.

Well, it makes sense, considering that I am improving my mind. I should be able to think faster to the point that it looks like the other things around me slowed down.

Not only that, but I can effortlessly use it.

After I landed on the roof of my neighbour's house, I looked around. Using my zoom out function to look for any sort of threats.

I didn’t need to look for long as I noticed purple clouds, almost glowing clouds, in a familiar area where I had trained just days ago!

‘They are spawning there? Well, fine. Let’s deal with them.’

Kicked off and began to glide before landing on the ground and jumping forward once more.

I was effortlessly able to cross around 20 metres to 30 metres, without even trying. But then I decided to put a bit more force into my next jump…

And…

‘Shit!’

I realised that I was looking into the river valley below me. I was around 50…maybe more metres above.

‘Holy fuck!’

Thankfully, the golden energy around me allowed me to simply glide down and land not far from the location where I was training.

What I saw soon after was several Chariot-class Homkai Beasts and those small ones… 

The Chariot Class was… huge!

‘How the fuck can you guys just spawn like this!?’

Without wasting or even trying to ask, I lunged forward with all of my force and delivered a powerful palm strike.

The golden energy, like wildfire, consumed the whole chariot Honkai Beast.

It burned away.

I realised that the providence power could now make ‘ghost’ afterimages without even leaving my body.

That is why the hunk chariot Honkai beast that is around ten metres tall ended up rolling away before burning away into dust.

I didn’t waste my time and continued with palm strikes, and golden ghostly palms followed after me, blasting these mindless creatures away.

In less than three minutes, the whole area was cleaned up.

“Hmph. So much Honkai.” I frowned while looking at my hand. 

Not that I was satisfied, as after I dealt with the ones in the river valley, I jumped to the other side and landed in the city centre. 

Observing all of my town before jumping on the fifth floor of a flat and checking the outskirts.

There were more Honkai Beasts there.

With a frown, I ended up jumping there. A couple of jumps, I landed before the monsters and began to move with my katas.

Midway, I realised that my movements changed, my reflexes changed, they became explosive, and the strikes became more explosive.

It would seem my martial arts improved after taking down much bigger enemies.

After taking down more chariots, several templars spawned out of nowhere.

“...”

I simply frowned before lunging forward and focusing ‘force’ in a single point in my palm before releasing it upon contact.

The Honkai creature’s shield began to spiral and rotate before breaking apart with the creature and shattering into nothing.

‘Oh, so I can do that as well!’

I began to test more with this ‘Explosive Force’ mixed with ‘Providence’.

Sadly, after the third Templar, there was nothing else there.

“...That’s it?” 

However, I should not jinx myself as the next days will only get worse.

‘So it was reflexes, the reaction time went off the charts and with Spiritual Awakening, I can not only react faster than a snake or a cat but also consider my actions before even doing them.

‘The system wasn’t joking that body and mind are the ‘Original Weapons’

My trip didn’t even last an hour, as before half past three, I was back in my house and back to my mind cultivation.

This time, however, I felt that it was harder and more resistant than ever before.

When I closed my eyes, I awakened not in pitch darkness but space… with stars everywhere!

‘...What the…’

I looked around, confused. Where should I go?

For a second I wondered, but then I knew… it didn’t matter where I go.

I should simply go.

As cultivation was progressing. Something has happened in the skies above the Mediterranean Sea. A battle, a single airship trying to bypass security, trying to save a white haired girl.

But things went south at insane speed as this girl…awakened something inside of her.

Things derailed, and at the end, this girl dropped down to the sea below and ended up getting washed away at a beach.

When she realised what had happened, she had no idea what to do.

Simply walk in a random direction. The girl followed her gut feeling.

Walking past roads, small abandoned towns and villages, collecting whatever food she could, sleeping under the night sky.

As she was walking, the girl began to hear voices, a female voice in her mind. They were not easy to ignore, as they were haunting and non-stop.

After god knows how long, she ended up on a highway. The temperature was no longer warm. And she had no idea where she was, but she felt that she was reaching her limit.
