Update: Changes to Patreon Fees - never mind, lol
Added 2017-12-14 03:07:06 +0000 UTCHello Sewers of Paris patrons!
Monday I let you know that Patreon was planning to make changes to the way that they process credit card fees. But today, they've announced that they won't be making those changes after all. You can read about their decision here: https://blog.patreon.com/not-rolling-out-fees-change/
This means that your pledge will continue to be exactly what it has been. My apologies if Monday's message caused you confusion or alarm! It's been quite a roller coaster for both creators and supporters on Patreon this past week. If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch: sewerspodcast@gmail.com
Thanks again for supporting The Sewers of Paris. And thanks to this week's new and increasing donors: David, Michael, and Darren.
I'm still thinking about ways that I can offer you more content, and I'd love to get your thoughts on how you'd like that to happen. Currently, The Sewers of Paris is on a per-post system, which means that you support the show per-episode. If I were to offer more content, that means your pledge amount might go up on some months, and I'd like to avoid that if possible by switching to a monthly system. With a monthly system, your pledge amount would be the same every month, even if on some months I release more content.
I'd love to hear what you think -- which of these systems would you like better?
Matt

I’m fine with the per post in general, but if they eventually put a fee attached to each post, my preference would change to monthly. In the end, whichever gets you the most bang for our bucks is great.
