Ron and Michelle here. We want to thank all of y'all so so much for the kind messages and prayers for our little guy. It truly means so much to us.
A quick update on Timmy - He is doing alright. He's stabilized and is now back home with us and we couldn't be happier.
However, sadly, he has been diagnosed with Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA) and we are not sure of the cause... They say that it is common for dogs to just develop this for no reason. However, he didn't need any blood transfusions and is responding to treatment, which are both good things. We will just have to continually check his blood count and keep a close eye on his progress. We are not in the clear yet, but he is not in any critical condition, which is all that we can hope for.
Thank you again, for thinking of Timmy and keeping him in your thoughts and prayers. We love this community so much and it really means a lot that y'all view not only us as friends/family but Timmy as well.
