Like when he said he is fine with the idea of a single human sacrifice for a good weather then he proceeds to hold his ring.

Mitsuha, as others have pointed out, was the salesperson who helped hodoka pick out the ring (her nametag has her name on it too). You see the back of Tessie and Sayaka, Mitsuha's classmates. Man, it kinda sucks for mitsuha though, doesn't it? has to move to tokyo since itomori got bombed out of existence, and then has to move again because tokyo went swimming. xD Also, anyone else find it hilarious that they even still bother with weather reports after three years? bahahah easiest job for the weatherman ever I guess

2022-10-03 23:58:29 +0000 UTCThis is probably my least favourite movie by makoto shinkai, it’s gorgeous like always with his films, and I do like the ending where the characters basically say fuck everyone else and just be selfish, is it good for the other millions of people? Nah but characters usually make the good and selfless choice (or find some loophole) so it’s fun to see characters not do that, but I’m not quite as interested in this one as I was with the others but this one probably has my favourite setting, I love rain so much
