The episode before this spoiled it for me. It shows Bertholdt about to bite his hand to transform when the tower was falling. I noticed it then figured it out before the reveal in episode 6

There was lots of clues leading and hinting that Reiner and Berholdt were armored and colossal titans as well. They were pretending to be soldiers and been in the role for 5 years and almost forgot their true goal. The convo between Ymir and Reiner about the can food and diff language, Reiner and Berholdt weird expression when they saw the Beast Titan, Reiner trying to distract Conny about the titan possibly be his mother when they were at the Conny's hometown village and there was no sign of anyone dead, Reiner telling Ymir to continue to stop Conny talking about any links between the titan and his mother, Titan Annie changing direction after Reiner escaped from her hands and more little bits of scenes that hinted to this reveal. The most obvious hint would be the hair color of the armored titan hair, as based on the hair color it could be Reiner or Jean. With all the other hints, Reiner was already very suspicious. No one would have expect Reiner because he was the big brother, but it was the biggest betrayal of all time for Eren. So far Michelle's theories has been the closest and Ron is right behind with a few other crazy theories. Love to hear more. I watched this episode in tears knowing fully well how Eren must have felt when he shouted 'You damn traitors!'. From this point, AOT gets darker and heart wrenching.

Attack on Titan is one of the few series with legitimate rewatchability value, at least in my opinion.  That's not to say you can't enjoy rewatching other shows, but when it comes to AoT, the experience is just so unique.  No matter how far you've gotten in the series, a rewatch will almost always result in seeing something you missed or something you can view in a new light.  It's kinda like New Game+ in your favorite video game.  Unless someone specifically points stuff out along the way, a rewatch of Attack on Titan feels like a new journey. Unfortunately, after rewatching the show multiple times and/or viewing Attack on Titan reaction videos, some people feel an urge to control those who are new to the franchise.  To those of you who do that, no matter your intentions, try to remember the first time you watched the show or read the manga.  Surely you had theories at the time, and surely you would have been upset if someone tried controlling your experience.  What's the point of criticizing the reactors for making theories of their own?  If you don't like their videos, don't watch. It's that simple. There's no justifiable reason to steal their excitement or ruin the story. As an anime-only fan who was spoiled multiple times (including, but not limited to, how the manga ends), I implore you to think before posting.  Telling them that their theory is right or wrong is a spoiler.  Telling them that "X" episode will "blow their minds" is a spoiler.  Telling them something that hasn't happened yet, no matter how big or small, is a spoiler.  Heck, considering the rewatch value of AoT, you could (theoretically) argue that pointing out previously watched scenes with new context is a spoiler under certain circumstances.  If I'm not mistaken, they've discussed what they do and don't want us to tell them, so please think before commenting... and be nice!

There’s a few hints to this reveal throughout the series thus far, (I wouldn’t look into them tho because some of them spoil future reveals) but tbh I’m glad y’all didn’t pick up on any of them. I think it makes the actual reveal that much better. I had doubts after Bertolt’s “warrior vs soldier” comment in the tower. You guys almost caught on there too because of how weird that interaction is lol. The only other time that word comes up is when Annie called herself a “failed warrior” at the end of season 1.

I think this show is going to make you guys struggle with the question of who’s good and who’s evil quite a bit! You might want to rewatch Armin answer Annie about whether he thinks she’s good or bad, and really listen to his words! I feel like people have figured out Reiner, and sometimes Bertholdt by association, but only if they rewatch the intro to season 2 each time. Since we haven’t seen the Armor Titan since like episode 2, it’s easy to forget what it looks like, but once you rewatch the intro a few times… “does that look a little like Reiner?!”

Now imagine how it must feel to be Eren lol just revelation and betrayal one after another 😅. At this point, Annie's capture was not too long ago, a few days ago at best. Ymir's reveal as a titan was basically yesterday and now the next day, you got Reiner casually dropping the biggest bomb ever ever, that he and Bertholdt were the ones to start everything... The red flag snapping can be seen symbolically as Reiner snapping in that moment! As well as all the tension too lol. I loved the addition of this for the anime as in the manga, there was no such flag snapping moment. Episode overall is still a masterpiece in terms of buildup, music, and dialogue!
