When she says she stole the power of the titan from their friend she means when she ate their friend that’s when she gained the power to turn to a Titan at will. It wasn’t intentional because she was turned into a titan when they pushed her off that wall. I’m not going to say specifically how she became a Titan in the first place but you’ll understand the more you watch and then past events that happened in the show will make sense.

My point exactly. There was a million different ways to bring up the issue. Definitely could have sent a personal message too if you genuinely wanted to critique it more too. But most comments like these are usually just insults to get attention. Can’t convey tone through text so most people now a days word their sentences a hell of a lot better to describe their issues. I really appreciate the empathy you guys show, even for Reiner and Bertolt, and I can really relate to it. I feel like a lot of reactors feel like they were the ones betrayed in episode 2x6 and hold a hard grudge against them, but like you guys I was so curious to know why they are taking this course of action, especially after seeing how much it pains them to do it. Bertholdt's emotional breakdown was fantastic! He's usually so quiet and reserved so his outburst here really tells you that he's just as affected by his actions as Reiner is. Even Ymir looked pained after hearing his cries. It was such a stark contrast to his demeanor back in 2x09 where he looked cynical and jaded, even when Eren was screaming at them and calling them mass murderers...
