The roleplay aspect is a huge part that sets this series apart from other Isekai shows. The world building is also really well done, this will get expanded of course, only 4 episodes in. One word of advice to keep in mind, Ains is a great protagonist, check that I said protagonist, not hero. Always remember Ains is a villain at the end of the day. This creates a very interesting interaction, since he is a villain you love to cheer for, it's a really well done feat of writing that as a viewer you remain in his camp.

I've seen the "Stuck in a Game/MMO" thing to death already, but this seems more focused on the interaction between autonomous NPCs than it is with other players like other animes do. The lack of proper human interaction seems to be pushing Momonga/Ains deeper into a roleplay perspective where he is the absolute in this world. I find the premise really interesting.

He changed his name to the guild name as a message to any of his fellow guild members. If they're in this world they'll hear the name of their guild being spread out and know they're not alone.

I've seen all three seasons and researched a little on what they leave out but from my perspective I'll say that its more world building in the realm that ainz is in and less on why he was sent their in the first place. I could be wrong on that second part but thats what I feel when I watched this show.
