I just realized in this second watch through, when powder is putting away the amulet and it shows the other cores it makes me think that powder might try and come into ekkos future to see Vi. The knowledge that she could live with her again might be too tempting without knowing what she would have to give up in the process.

2024-11-25 16:09:51 +0000 UTCI think the only thing u guys didn't catch (maybe) is that in between episode 3 (Jayce, Mel, Heim and ekko disappearance) and episode 4, there was a big time jump, I don't remember if it was like month or a year but they disappear for all this time, thats why ambessa was frustrated with no good scientist.

2024-11-25 14:10:10 +0000 UTCidk exactly what you mean when you say the two beliefs of one side seeing the bad of hextech and the other side needing it bc it’s true that in the ep ekko needed hextech but it was only for him to go back to his own universe. the universe he got stuck in we saw that there was no hextech and everything was better both top and bottom side. at the end however when powder reveals she still has the gems you can guess that if anyone were to ever develop hextech from it that they can easily turn into the messed up world we know. ultimately i think jayce is right about destroying hextech bc it only causes destruction in the end. in the nice universe the reason why hextech wasn’t invented was bc vi got killed from it and so they never had the justification to continue with that research. makes me sad tho that the sisters can never exist happily together in the same universe.

2024-11-25 12:00:53 +0000 UTCSo about the first conversation, I think people are trying to say that Ekko, Jayce and Heimer were absorbed by the hextech on episode 3. There was a time jump from episode 3 to episode 4 so the firelights think Ekko died, thats why hes painted on the wall.

2024-11-25 11:06:22 +0000 UTCThe ending scene where we see powder put the necklace in the drawer and we see the hextech pieces next to it indicates that its because of powder that hextech never came to be in that version of Piltover. She took all that hextech core and kept it to herself so viktor and jayce never got the chance to develop anything with it and pretty much saved that timeline from impeding doom.

I learned that in one of my college courses while trying to bioengineer blue roses for my girlfriend when I realized our relationship was failing. This episode hit me hard 🥲

She lashed out, but she was a child too. Vander however was an adult who was able to give Powder a way to grief, but also let her move on in a healthy way. As opposed to Silco who encouraged her destructive tendencies because they aligned with his goals.
