That's why Leone died in such a way. 😢even w/o a relic she's a beast through n' through! EDIT: Deep, yet simple... It's only called "Akame Ga Kill" because she's the one that survives. Lastly, the anime is mind-blowingly different than the manga, because the anime was made before the manga finished, so it took it's own path. The manga continued on its own path as well. This should've been bad since the roads are diff but they nailed (or should I say killed lol) this shit! *ELIMINATE*

Leone explained so in an early episode to Tatsumi when she was talking about Akame's past to him. Plus Akame is the last one to survive along with Najenda. That's what I think

2024-11-25 03:52:55 +0000 UTCLeone death hit different, it's so sad because you would think she had a chance of survival but she was just saying her final goodbye to Akame and the people she knew in the town. She's the very first person we see from night raid who recruited Tatsumi, she was a badass and funny character. Akame vs Esdeath was amazing. What a great fight to end the series. One of my favorite anime, this has a good mix of everything pretty much: Great fights, nice animation, sadness, some romance, good backstories, death, fan service. If this show had a season 2 it probably wouldn't be a good idea since season 1 was so good plus everyone died. Like Ron said this was a one and done type thing and everything was amazing. RIP Esdeath, Tatsumi and Leone Future Diary (Mirai Nikki) would be a great follow up to eventually watch. Could add it to a future poll.
