Caitlyn realising Jinx is alive and being unable to tell Vi makes the ending even sadder to me (Vi saying she's the dirt underneath your fingernails shows that she will never give up on you) because she knows Vi will just go chase down Jinx instead of being happy.

And then you have Caitlyn looking at the blue print map and then zooming in at one of the escapes? Naaaah they didn’t bring that up for no reason

They could have make wayyy more impactful just as they did on everyone else which is even more confirming that she faked it and left on that balloon at the end. The entire "theory" make huge sense, if it's not that then it makes no sense which would be stupid seeing how great they've done for the rest of the show, they didn't miss this, definitely. Jinx just left as Silco advised her to do to break the circle Édit: in the artbook jinx wrote « i’ll be right back » on one the first page and she wrote « I LIVE » multiple times on the box that contains the artbook Her being alive isnt just a theory to me atp

It's animation not live action so NOTHING is randomly made and Arcane has proven many times that there are absolutely zero no coincidence, no random details, everything make sense and every shot serve a purpose. There are several details that make absolutely no sense if it's not meant to hint jinx is alive and leaving. So to me it's obvious she survived considering all i said and the fact her death isn't as impactful as others were in the show + they wouldn't get rid of jinx like that, the character will be mentionned again if not seen somewhere later

2024-11-28 08:37:58 +0000 UTCThere's a theory that Jinx survived because when Cait says "Our story isn't over" in her post war monologue, it cuts to Cait looking at the schematics of the Hex gates where Jinx fell. She's holding a piece of the monkey bomb Jinx used to blow herself up, hinting that they've been to the explosion site. So why look at schematics for tech that is no longer working? I suspect they never found Jinx's body and Cait wants to be sure shes dead. She's looking for any crevice that evidence of her body may have fell into OR a way that Jinx may have escaped. Looking closer, one frame zooms into the air ducts connecting to the hex gates. How ironic, the ventilation system in Piltover that Caits family is responsible for may be the reason Jinx was able to escape. In the end she breaks the cycle just like Silco said, "the cycle only ends when you find the will to walk away".

When a crow at the end opens its eyes and reveals a demonic row of three of them along its head, it's clear that Swain, the Grand General of Noxus, has been keeping an eye on things. Swain is the ruler of Noxus, where Ambessa is from. So, he's already likely had a hand in the events of the show.

Caitlyn is looking at plans or blueprints with emphasis on the air ducts, hinting that there is a way out of there. Add the fact that jinx and silco(in her head) talked about how the only way to end the violence cycle is to walk away from it. FINALLY, In season 1, Jinx(as powder) mentioned she wanted to ride an airship someday and the entire show ends with a random airship flying away. It all points that she is alive but decided it was time for her to go. To end the cycle of violence. Otherwise, it would make no sense for that scene with silco and her saying that but her ended up joining the fight anyway.

Caitlyn was looking at the map, Jinx got away through there. In season 1 first episode it was revealed she always wanted to travel the airships. The beginning and end are no coincidence..

2024-11-27 17:31:54 +0000 UTCmight be another long comment but man like many other comments are saying i truly believe jinx is alive with the end of caitlyn holding jinx’s monkey bomb piece looking at the prints of the ducts where the explosion happened. and at the very end the blimp or whatever flying away, if you remember in season 1 1st episode when the kids were climbing on the rooftops, powder says she wants to ride on one of those one day. that further makes me believe jinx is in the airship at the end. why i think she decides to leave like that ties back into the convo she had with silco while she was locked up. she decided to walk away and end the cycle. i hope we can see her again 😭 also yeah with vi ik it’s such an avoidable scene and you could say it’s her fault but i don’t blame her. she’s lost vander another time and she’s someone imo who gets overtaken by emotions a lot of the time. she has such a big heart and that’s why i love her so much. even that scene also ties back to what she told caitlyn in the jail cell as well where she says she chooses wrong every time and she loses everyone bc of it. bc here again she loses jinx bc she was too emotional over losing vander again. i’m just happy that for once lesbian characters get to be together at the end and live out a somewhat happy ending bc we rarely get rep like that.

Swain was teased with his six eyed crow, the next show will likely take place in Noxus Jinx DID survive, she dashed out of the explosion at the last second. This is also backed up by Cait holding her bomb while inspecting the hextower schematics and zooming in at an escape shaft. In addition, the ship sailing away at the end was the same ship Powder said she would fly on one day. Just like in her conversation with Silco in the jail cell, she is "walking away" from the cycle she is stuck in. Heimer also "died" but yordles are immortal, he will regenerate in bandle city! What a beautiful story, definitely one of my all time favorite animated shows of all time, rivaling even Shippuden and done in only 18 episodes!!

Also the green runes that Ambessa was wearing was originally wrapped around Rictus' weapon (hence you saw how it blocked Jinx and Caitlyn's shots). Apparently it negates Arcane energies, so it's like Kryptonite to mages or Arcane-users i.e. LeBlanc. Also they seem to be the same runes that are used to make Riven's weapon.

After Viktor and Jayce flew to the top, and Jayce was first kneeling and holding the hammer - he realized he was in the exact same spot and position as when he saw that figure holding the hammer when he visited the alternate timeline. You can see his face lose hope like saying to himself “I failed.”

If you slow down the explosion right before her 'death' you can see a streak of pink shimmer leaving and escaping just like how jinx's eyes always have a streak of shimmer when she basically 'teleports.' You can also see Caitlyn in the end holding onto her bomb head, which means she went to observe the crime scene. But while observing holding the bomb shell, caitlyn also was observing the vents in the area jinx supposedly died. Meaning she likely didn't find a body and she was observing possibilities of how Jinx could've escaped. Then the very ending scene is the blimp flying away, and it's the same blimp as the one Jinx said in S1EP1 that she wanted to ride on one day. I doubt arcane would've included all of these details for no reason. ---- Lastly, in the most recent 'afterglow' episode where they interview the VA's for Vi, Jinx, Ekko, and two directors, they also said something along the lines of 'she might be dead she might be not.'

Also the ship flying away in the very end was the same scene in episode 1 where jynx sees it flying over head and says “one day I’m gonna fly away in one of those”. Still a sad ending but a little bit of hope knowing she is most likely still alive? Idk still sad lol

It's so rare to see homosexual relationships portrayed so naturally and well in media, and as a queer woman myself it was so refreshing to see it portrayed and written in such a beautiful way, arcane really did that justice.

Everybody doubted he would be during this season, but I knew Victor had to be involved with fixing his mistakes. Especially once I saw how the anomaly was messing with time too.
