Yess but to be fair no one knew where the first movie was going. At that time sci fi movies were not popular and were flopping hard and George Lucas even got a hard time trying to present his movie to the Executives. Everyone one set just decided to ride along with George Not knowing the incredible succes the movie would have. Even Carrie, Harrison and Mark didn’t even know about what to movie would be like at the end because they only recorded the lines and all the scene were shoot Independently and not in order. It ended up being a major success and i think the Movie Industrie lack those type of movie Director and producers like George, steven Spielberg and the others legend. Every project now is being pick apart by board executive and by actors who most of the time should be directing movies like they do now.

He was actually very strict in acting and it had to be the way he planned it, so there was no artistic freedom from the actors. That's why the original 6 were considered masterpieces and how modern movies get a bad reputation for being lower quality.

I watched the whole thing without skipping. But due to limitations of technology, it just wasn't possible. The advancements in CGI made during the making of 1-3 are quite literally why CGI is so good nowadays. It's in no way an exaggeration that without George, a lot of successful movie series that use CGI wouldn't be here today.

C3 -PO is based on a robot from the german movie Metropolis which you could say predicted the near future. the movie was made in a time when computers weren't even a thing and they dont understand how they made these effects in the movie. Back to Star Wars: The Original trilogy and the Prequels are very different because the time is different in the star wars universe you could say but also because the prequels got made a long time after episode 6. In my opinion the original Trilogy is better written than the prequels WITHOUT Star Wars Clone Wars (Star wars clone wars is a whole series that plays between the second and third movie and is in my opinion better than the prequels. you could say clone wars is the real star wars prequel content. theres also an older Clone wars series from 2003 which is a lot shorter but still phenomenal. some Charackters in the series- or LEGENDS are just better than they were in the movies) after disney bought Star Wars in 2015 there was a seperation between CANON and LEGENDS this is very important not just in generel but also to understand why people think that disneys Star Wars is bad or very controversal. Star Wars LEGENDS basically means ALL Star wars information (Comic, Video games, etc,) that is not accepted by the Disney Canon which means ALL extra Star wars information (for example Old republic and High Republic) besides The Movies so 1 to 9 and the extra movies and Series (Without the clone wars 2003). For me personally is LEGEND content WAY better than anything we see in the movie you will understand when you understand. The LEGENDS lore is just way cooler and for me the true original lore because I dont like most things in Disney canon and most fans agree. so the movies 7 to 9 is a very controversal topic because Star wars basically ended with the movie number 6 or Return of the jedi. i liked the movie 7 although its just a new version of a new hope but most fans HATED and I mean HATED the movie 8 or Last Jedi and to be honest I think its bad just from an objective cinema and writing point of view but oh boy what they did to Star Wars with that movie still runs deep. BUT I would still encourage you to look them up and watch them togheter with Roque One (the best and only incredible star wars disney movie from a lot of view points) AND PLEASE WATCH CLONE WARS BOTH SERIES. So let's summarize: Original Trilogie old Star wras vibe 4 to 6 Prequel Trilogy is the new star wars vibe that's good 1 to 3 Sequels 7 to 9 just watch it yourself (with Roque One, The Mandelorian and Hna Solo Star wars story and a bunch of new Star wras series the movies that were made by disney) Star Wars Clone Wars 2003 an Star Wars THE Clone wars for many the best star wars content for good reasons Star Wars LEGENDS all content outside of the movies with the entire lore until 2015 I had nothing to do in late 2020 so I just consumed EVERY star wars Legends content TWICE and every Star Wars reaction. There are a LOT of Star Wars books and comics that started coming out after this first film released. An entire galaxy's history mostly thrown away in the Disney acquisition :'( i cant wait for you to see the jedi fight scenes in the prequel trilogy

The first one was basically considered an indie film back then. A few people working on the movie at the time in the film crew were thinking to themselves that the movie was going to suck. Of course the rest is history. Loved watching this with you guys! Looking forward to the next one!

He took inspiration from different religions, cultures and books/history and movies and created an amazing Universe. The Jedi are based on Knights/Knighthood and the force is inspired by Ki/Qi but yeah there are so many sources that influenced Star Wars. It was awesome to hear yall really appreciate the sets and detail that went into the movie and how revolutionary it was at the time and still is. Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher all played their parts perfectly and their charisma shined through with their characters especially Han Solo. And highly recommend all the Indiana Jones movies 1-3 are amazing and 4-5 are fun and still have the charm. Steven Spielberg directed them and George Lucas wrote some of the story for them and Harrison is just too good in them.

The problem is that he was allowed to make 1 movie and he wasn't expecting Star Wars to be a success. So he took the episode he thought would do best as a stand alone movie. He also modified his script to fit and make sense as a stand alone movie. Thinking it would be the only movie he gets to make. Turns out it was so well received he got to make more and the rest was history. That's the gist of it I believe.

To find the beginning. 20-1 =19 From there you can start the century at year 1. 1901 So the 20th century is from 1901-2000. That is because when you start the first century ever in history. What year is it? Year 1. So from 1 to 100. 1st Century. 101-200. 2nd century. etc. Even knowing this I always get it wrong just to correct myself later. xD
