Boruto is something I am looking forward to seeing in the future, the anime gets a lot of hate, I can see why but it’s definitely worth watching. I would say just skip the fillers and focus on the manga canon I’m sure there is a website where they have a list of fillers. The boruto manga is fire right a lot of people are going back to read the manga definitely recommend it as well. Forgot to mention bleach and boruto share the same studio and the studio has said that they are focused on the final arcs of bleach this is why the animation is a bit questionable on boruto.

The show has plenty of flaws but it also has some cool moments and fun world building. I also expect that boruto "shippuden" or whatever they call part 2 is going to be amazing so y'all might as well watch boruto to get caught up for when it comes out.

Unlike Narutos fillers which have purpose, nice ideas and more background on the main story, Boruto fillers are unrelated crap, there are few nice ones, but if you skip them Boruto cannon only is good, just lower your expectations from Naruto, because not Boruto and not even 90% of anime out there can be compared to it.

While I do admit it's not as good as Naruto, at the bare minimum it is still enjoyable at least to see how the world evolves and to see the people from Naruto as adults, some with families etc. In many anime, after it ends I want to know how the characters are doing like 10+ years later so Boruto satisfies my question

The "filler" is still considered "anime canon" as there are some things that happen to some characters that dont even show up in the manga. TLDR; Give it a shot. Its still naruto. Just because you pay money every month doesn't mean you have the power to decide how they should do something. I mean, if you go into a Starbucks and order/pay for a coffee, doesn't mean you have the right to explain to the barista step by step how to make the coffee. Of course, you can have a certain expectation that they will give you something in return for your money. But both do enough to make it worth our pay! They always upload their reactions on time, even sometimes earlier, which is much more convenient for Europeans (like me). And if they can't record or upload something, they always let us know a few days in advance and even keep us updated if anything changes. Many other reactors don't do this. And they also make extra content that has nothing to do with reactions at all, namely their vlogs! So don't worry, you'll still get plenty for your money, even if they don't make up for the missed episodes of One Piece and Naruto! And besides, it's not up to you to say what is a "real" job and what isn't! Before you downplay their work, you should perhaps do what they do for a few weeks or months yourself. Let's see if you would still say that?! Judging about a certain activity or job without having done it yourself before is really disrespectful and arrogant!

It's a default ability of the Magekyou Sharingan, he already had It, he was just not aware of It until that point. It was instinctual because he was cornered and was forced to use his Makekyou, which resulted on him "discovering" this new ability. I'm pretty sure that was the first time he used his Magekyou in a fight since It was awakened after seeing Shisui's suicide. No, wait, he also used against Orochimaru before, my bad. anyway, he was still getting accustomed to the new powers that comes with It.

Sure, if you compare the two stories, Boruto is clearly the worse one. But if you look at Boruto as its own show and story, it's really good, entertaining and also interesting. Seeing all the characters we've come to love in Naruto as adults and parents is really cool. And it’s also interesting to see how the world has changed since then. Yes, most of the fillers are bad, but just skip them like the Naruto ones and everything is fine. So just watch Boruto if you are interested and please don't let the opinions of people who hate Boruto influence you. Just like back then with seasons 3 and 4 of Tokyo Ghoul... I think it's better anyway if you start watching a show because you're personally interested in it, and then maybe later say you're going to stop watching because you don't like it that much anymore. So just like you guys did with Ninja Kamui. But I would recommend you to watch something else before starting Boruto. Because I think if you started watching Boruto right after Shippuden, you would subconsciously start comparing the two shows and stories. And as I mentioned earlier, that's exactly the problem! I think if you put some distance between these two shows it would be easier for you to see Boruto as its own thing. So if you really decide to give Boruto a chance, please just watch it and don't make a poll! Please! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Because I think that could ultimately take you the opportunity away to watch something that you might even end up liking! Kind of like with Food Wars! Yes, Food Wars had won the vote, but there was still a lot of whining about it in the poll. And you said that you just would watch the first season at first just to see if you like it. And look, now you're almost at season 4 😂😂 So just watch Boruto and see if you like it! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Found out that The Boruto novels actually adapt the anime, not vice versa, so I wasn't even talking about those anyway (those plots are obviously written by the anime production team, lol). I am very much talking about any episodes adapted from Hiden novels, Shinden novels, or Retsuden novels because they do exist in Boruto.

You should ask any reactor out there who has reacted to Boruto on YouTube and they'll tell you that yes, Boruto is different from the Naruto series, but it is still worth watching and reacting to (just skip the fillers!). It's not the best shounen ever but it's a good sequel and it gets better and better apparently. Besides, since you have enjoyed quite a lot of Itachi Gaiden and Kakashi Gaiden, I'm sure you are going to love Boruto as a "spin off"/sequel. The only thing is that I'm sad that we may have to wait until you finish Bleach to watch Boruto... :'(

I plan to pick it back up eventually. before boruto shippuden comes out, which apparently is supposed to be really good according to a lot of manga readers.

It should be getting better once it returns, especially because the manga has gotten a ton better and it’s actually a fire anime now imo.

Just skip all the filler and watch only manga cannon. Honestly don’t even bother with anime cannon. I’m sure a mod or someone could send a list of what episodes to watch
