Dr. Stone - Episode 9

Comments

The goat is here 😆

Fina Cassie

@Cap But you can trust that they will probably betray you. That's what I mean 😅

RorotheShadow

This makes no sense. Like none at all

Cap

That is not how it works lol

Cap

That's not trust lmao that's preparing for them to betray you. That's the very definition of untrustworthy. Ron is 100% correct

Cap

@Marco St Wow, that makes absolutely no sense. I can love a character and call them one of my favorites even if they're not on "the good side." For example, Dabi is one of my favorite MHA characters and I love him, but he's a villain, an antagonist, so he's not on "the good side." Madara is also many people's favorite Naruto character, and he is definitely not on the "good side." And when I said I disagree with Ron, it has nothing to do with wanting them to understand Gen or because I'm "excited." I just simply believe that you can trust a person who isn't loyal, for the very reason I mentioned in my comment. So, I never "vouched" for Gen or made it "obvious" that he's switching sides. You basically did that by saying I'm doing it lol 😂🤦🏻‍♀

RorotheShadow

I get that you're excited and Gen is one of your favorites and you want everyone to understand his psyche and stuff, but we need to let the reactors discover these things for themselves. By saying, "he's one of my favorite Dr. Stone characters" and then kind of indirectly vouching for Gen, you've made it pretty obvious to them that Gen is going to be on the "good side" and an important character. Also, it can also be spoilerish for someone who's watching along with them for the first time and just likes reading comments.

Marco St

Literally just noticed that aswell lmao It’s a shame that Eyeshield 21 is so underrated

Karaka

Since you guys were kinda curious about what exactly the lightning experiment was about and how it's going to let them make a generator, here's a really basic explanation: A simple generator has a strong electromagnet as it's core. Spinning that magnet is what generates electricity. So they needed a strong magnet. To make an electromagnet, you can wrap a wire around a piece of magnetic metal, and run electricity through it. They substituted that electricity with lightning. So, basically Senku needed a strong magnet. And he used the copper wire and lightning to magnetize a piece of metal he had. And he'll use this magnet to make the generator.

Marco St

@20:19 Anybody else notice that Eyeshield 21 reference? 😭

Karaka

Yeah, Gen is finally here! One of my favorite Dr. Stone characters, love him! 🤍🖤💜 I have to disagree with you, Ron. Of course, you can trust someone who isn't loyal. If, like in this case with Gen, you know exactly that they're acting selfishly and opportunistically, you know from the start where you stand with that person and what to expect. And that's why you have the possibility to prepare for it. And just in case you missed it: Kinro and Ginro (the two guards) are brothers! I mention this specifically because I noticed that many reactors who watched Dr. Stone missed it. 😂😂

RorotheShadow

Lol Michelle was just imitating a famous person. That's not racist Ron. 😂

Phyllis

Mentalist Gen!!! 😆

Phyllis

Gen best boi

Camille Watrigant

Orichimaru’s lil cousin Gen finally pulled up. My Mentalist Maestro

Pyke Your Poison

The "Eyeshield 21" anime, reference powering up the generator is hilarous hahaha if you want an American Football Anime you can check "Eyeshield 21", but it's an old anime but the animation is good back when it came out.

NoniPrime

In manga, the scene that Senku turns on the light is drawn sooooo well!!💡

油 ラー

Finally my goat Asagiri gen💜

Calvin Loudry

All of Senku's faces crack me up LOL Reminds me of the main character from "The Greatest Estate Developer" after he scams someone too for a good cause. read it if u havent yet lol

TurtleHubby

ron should always do that silly dance every time the title tune shows in the beginning. LMAOO the new dance after demon slayer title one 😂

carmen 🫧

I love Gen! 🖤🤍💜 one of my favs from this show.

Beca

The iron was magnetized by the electric field created in the rod by the lightning strike. In metals of certain compositions there exist microscopic magnetic domains. Each domain holds a dipole(a north and a south magnetic pole…scientific standards assign the dipole a direction that runs from north to south). In non magnetic materials these domains and dipoles are randomly oriented in the material. Magnets by contrast can have their domains/dipoles oriented in several orientations (including parallel to one another). The lighting aligned the domains/dipoles in the iron. I don’t remember why it needed to be wrapped tho. https://www.doitpoms.ac.uk/tlplib/ferromagnetic/types.php Also. Darkness does exist tho so idk what senku was talking about lol. Europe relied on uranium from Niger for years to light its streets while plenty in Niger went without electricity. Such is the modern era. The capital for tech innovation is not invested into reducing disparity as much as it should. Hopefully someday tho.

Percy

“WOW! wow…”😂😂 this was so funny to me ( 18:16 )

XoDanii

That’s how I looked at it.

Antonio Ricardo

It’s possible. He can have a lot of knowledge about psychology and sociology, but can also be cowardly and opportunistic

Antonio Ricardo

GEN IS HEREEEE

victoria t

The mentalist is weak minded? Ermm....

Dreyzok

I think it's easier to trust someone that straight up says that he will always be on the winners side because you know how they will act. While someone that says is loyal could always switch up when you dont expect it

Piranhaconda
