I always figured that having the Mantra and such a powerful DF power and seemingly most Skypieans/Shandorans don’t understand his power just gave Enel a crazy amount of space to get so powerful.

I mean, I do agree early one piece fights are 😐, but they vastly improved in the later arcs. IMO some of the best fight scenes in all of anime have come from the most recent and current arcs of One Piece. The journey is definitely worth it in the end, its just a really really long journey 😅

Just for time prospective: Roger died 22 years ago Luffy is 17 years old Eneru became ‘God’ 6 years ago Btw, ‘fun’ fact, I heard ‘Enel’ is the name of an Italian multinational manufacturer and distributor of electricity. Maybe Oda gave Enel this name for this reason.

It's not "Enel". It's Eneru, there is no "L" in Japanese, there only "R" like letters that sounds like L also, but mostly "R". Take the Name Eneru in Katakana エネル ( エ = E + ネ = NE + ル = RU) And what does "Eneru" mean translated to English? Energy or Enerugi エネルギー, so for both of those reasons pronouncing Eneru makes sense, Enel doesn't. Or It really shoud be "Enelru" Even "L" from Death Note is エル E + RU, that's how they can say "L" in way but it still has the "RU" Luffy is "LRuffy
