You guys will realize and learn more about Shisui soon. You're beginning to connect some of the dots, but the full picture isnβt quite clear yet. It can definitely be confusing, especially when it comes to who's who. For example, the concubine whom Taihou once served, and who is now married to Shishou, is likely older than the current Empress Dowager (who is in her mid-40s). This concubine was previously with the late emperor, and Taihou served her during that time. Taihou became pregnant back then, which suggests she is either slightly older than or around the same age as the Empress Dowager, since she was involved with the late emperor before the Empress Dowager was. Hereβs a rough estimated age ranking of some of the current characters in the story, from oldest to youngest: - The concubine(Former consort of the late emperor, now wife of Shishou; mother of Loulan; the woman Taihou once served) - Taihou -> Mid-40s to 50s (deceased). - Empress Dowager -> Mid-40s. - Taihouβs daughter -> Estimated to be in her 30s to early 40s. - Current Emperor -> Mid-30s. - Jinshi -> Age 19 (as of Season 2). - Maomao -> Age 18 (Season 2). Unknown ages: - Suirei - Shisui - Loulan
