2025-09-29 01:05:41 +0000 UTCHaven't seen it for Patreon, but the reason folks often make a separate YT channel for OP is because that content (especially for smaller channels) tends to heavily outperform their other videos, so the YT algorithm stops recommending non-OP stuff, which then starts doing even worse & the channel basically dies (especially once they catch up) shit lowkey makes me feel bad for watching sometimes :/

2025-09-29 00:50:36 +0000 UTCThere are actually a lot of content creators that are either solely one piece or at least mostly one piece. So much so there is youtube convention live event of these people. They do once a year and live stream for 10-12 hours discussing story, theories, characters etc.

From luffy setting sail, to current time, has only been 3-6 months at most. Yea, they took out multiple warlords in that short amount of time, and made this big of a name for themselves. It seems like it should be a lot longer, but everything has been back to back repeatedly. That speaks to the crews ability to withstand so much mental and physical abuse, and how close they actually are that they would die for each other after only knowing them for a couple months.
