2024-07-01 06:02:40 +0000 UTCAs someone who has read the manga The Infinity Castle Arc would translate well into movie form...but a trilogy is overkill in my opinion. Demon Slayer is one of the shorter mangas its only 205 chapters so stretching it out over 3 movies is definitely a money grab. Also I don't want to be forced go to the movies to see the ending of an anime that I've been watching in the comfort of my own home for all these years. Watching this in theatres will definitely ruin the experience for me.

2024-07-01 01:19:00 +0000 UTCI think the "curse" was explicitly used by the priest and that was passed down through the gens because Muzan was sick before he became a demon. Muzan's doctor used a special experimental medicine that failed and created him, I think the "curse" was just them being sick, Muzan found a way out by accident and to get rid of him they said they had to kill him to "cleanse" the bloodline for some motivation or something. I DO however believe that there was divine intervention in some way to introduce the daughters of priests to prolong the age cap so that when the time comes they can stand on business, but back then a LOT of things had the label of "cursed". Muzan was a medical mistake that turned into an APOCALYPTIC DISASTER for humans that didn't affect the descendants of his relatives (Kagaya's ancestors) in the way the priest mentioned. At least that's how I made sense of it. This whole series is so complex in so many beautiful ways. The 3 movie shit about to piss me off because that means we aren't getting Kokushibo (Upper Moon 1) till either movie 2 or 3 depending on how they want to space these battles. TIREDT!!

As a manga reader, I wanted the infinity castle arc to be an anime season, too. 😔 I also understand y’all wanting to go to the movie theater to see the movies.
