Monocle Man did set up Jinshi to get Maomao to create that blue rose...sigh...to prove that "his daughter" was smart enough to do this, because she's his. *Rolls my eyes* His plan to be messy when it comes to Jinshi, Maomao, her biological mother, and the palace needs to be his down fall. Our girl, Maomao has a plan though. Also, he's not good with faces. If I remember he has face blindness and the only way Monocle Man usually can figure out who's who is by treating them like Go pieces due to personality and positions within the palace. Oh!
