This week:

Explosive Barrels

 This is probably the first hazard besides falling to your death that now applies to the player. Explosive barrels if exploded too close to the player will immediately sentence you with the Game Over screen. This means that you have to avoid them at all costs. However, robots are immune and at worst could be sent flying! Additionally, if you piggyback a robot, you become immune to barrel explosions which allows one to go flying with the robot. A poorman's form of transportation.

Surfboard Boosting

 So there was a dire need to add a way to move about with the surfboard without any tools or gravity. In comes the new Space to boost feature. It sits on a cool down and it's still not good enough to climb uphill but it will lodge you out of ditches or stationary positions. Excellent for getting started in a surfboard run.

It will not boost you past a certain velocity which can be upgraded in the Robot Editor. Additionally you can only do it while touching the ground. Maybe I can make it an upgrade feature to boost in mid air?

New Map Zones

 I made the first surfboard zone that teaches the player how to use the surfboard. It's a downhill rally and is littered with explosive barrels. If you hit one it's highly likely you fall to your death. It's pretty fun!

Another zone for the grapple hook was made so that you can find the new surfboard blueprint. Oh right, surfboard is no longer a built in robot feature. You have to find the surfboard blueprint which is just different thighs and replace your robot's thighs with the new thighs to give it the surfboard feature.
