0.4.5 is wrapping up.

Hi everyone, just a brief status update: 0.4.5 is looking like the largest update so far. There's a lot of <<if>> variables that are slowing me down; I'm actually ahead on word count, but behind on completion percentage, if that makes sense. Four days worth of content is almost as long as the entirety of the previous week.

So I appreciate your patience. My goal (let me emphasize that as *goal*) is to finish on Monday, give it a few days to get bug-tested and proofread, and then the update will come out next Friday.

If you're interested in being a part of that bug-testing/proofreading process, send me an email at brickdoorway@gmail.com. I'll reply from there with a more detailed breakdown of how that process will work.

Thanks!

Thank you for the explanation. I was thinking there would be a differnt type of pill in the future to complete the process. If the drug dealer or the mystic found out about the MC the normal pill could be substituted or mixed with another drug for an additional TF.

This update will have more scenes on that path, yes. If you're referring to the button that the salesman was wearing, that was a joke on my part. "The Red Pill" is a phrase that appeared in the movie The Matrix, and was essentially a metaphor for waking up and understanding that reality wasn't, well, real (It's been years since I've seen it, so forgive me if I don't get this quite right). In recent years this phrase was co-opted by an online movement for men's rights that focused on behaving like an "alpha male" because women are superficial and won't be attracted to "beta males." The Red Pill ideology about masculinity and male/female relationships is very divisive, to put it mildly. To wrap this up, I chose to imply that the salesman (who was an analogy for an online piracy website that shares my game) was a member of their movement, as commentary on his character and ethics. So basically, I was making a subtle and not very funny dig at him, and by extension, the people who pirate games. I apologize that it confused you. The TLDR is: brick tried to make a joke involving meta internet culture, but he isn't very funny.

Is there more for the criminal path and what does the red pill do?
