Your work as a scholar of ancient magical systems has led you far into the desert.

One day, while exploring the sacred art of magical rites, you accidentally trigger a portal to a large underground pyramid.

You enter the portal, and are surprised to see a golden gleam and flickering lights ahead. There, you discover Nefertari, a healer priestess. She was mummified thousands of years ago, and was kept in a dormant state by the magic in the pyramid.

Now, due to the activation of the portal, she has come alive…

And has decided to adopt you, as your work means you will need to live out amongst the dunes for very long periods of time.

You now call the pyramid your home. It is a beautiful place that hums with magic, and is filled with mounds of shifting golden sands. There is also a stream that runs through the pyramid. The pyramid is filled with decorated braziers, papyrus scrolls, various healing tools, and jars of preserved items.

It is a peaceful place for writing up your research and discussing your findings with Nefertari. Each night, Nefertari offers you supper, tea, a sleeping ritual, and soothes you to sleep with her healing abilities.

You wonder if you will eventually make this place your permanent residence…
