November 29, 2022: MIA for a bit

Hi everyone! sorry about being MIA for so long; GF and I got over covid shortly before thanksgiving and we traveled for the holiday. We've also had to work overtime due to everything :'( I couldn't take my work setup, so I did some sketching on the ipad when I got the chance! October 11, 2022: Schedule & Future Content 

I know it's been a minute since my last art post, but things are starting to turn around - after a lot of medical highs and lows, I'm finally improving, and should be back to normal sometime this year! (Just to reiterate: it wasn't cancer, it cant kill you, it just made it really hard to work).

Even though I'm not fully back yet, I'm still working! All the finished art will still be added to the Google drive folder, so you can get everything without having to remain subbed until I return to a regular schedule. I'll post updates on patreon and Twitter when I formally re-start production!

I've noticed AI art becoming pretty popular and surprisingly competent, so I'll be working to make my content better and more valuable by focusing on things that AI can't really do. So, rather than a typical "fat of she" (which I try my best not to do anyway), I'll be adding better writing, multiple characters interacting, unique poses+angles, (good) dialogue/sfx, sequences, comics, or maybe animation (I've never animated before so I'll be starting small). ...Maybe some fat victorian catgirls too. 

My actual art style won't change, though!

PS: I want to thank everyone for your support throughout my health hiatus. Whether you're a $1, $2 or a $100 patron (ESPECIALLY if you're a $100 patron), I want you to know that your contributions made all the difference in getting proper treatment. I might be Number 5, but you lot are Number 1. Thank you for everything!

Dec 22, 2021: Update - 2022 and Onward

Happy Holidays, Everyone!

You're probably wondering what's going on, since I've been trapped on the island much more than usual.

Long story short, I have had some mobility issues and I'm getting tested and treated. It's nothing life threatening, but it is important and sadly very time consuming. I am taking time off from my regular work for the holidays, but I won't be "reopening" until I'm fully caught up AND able to complete funded art in a timely manner.  This unfortunately means that my "hiatus"  will likely last a few more months, BUT the funded art is still being worked on, and no, you don't have to keep pledging to get it.

November 24, 2021: Update

Hello again and Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

The past few weeks have been... Rough to say the least. Every time I've set aside a day or a weekend to get back to work, I've had to cancel it and push things back anyway.

In light of this, I'm postponing the move from $1 minimum pledge to $2 until further notice. We'll get to that after I'm caught up on everything and able to work regularly. I'll post about it here and on Twitter so you'll be able to find out even if you're not a patron.

In the meantime, I've uploaded a collection of sketches and WIPs to give you something to look forward to until I escape the island again.

Sep 26, 2021: IMPORTANT UPDATE - Please Read!

You may have noticed that new art isn't coming out as frequently as it used to - after repeated bouts of arm pain, my doctor has since advised me to minimize the use of my drawing arm to prevent stress injury or worse complications. I can and will still be drawing, but only as much as I'm cleared for.

To make sure everyone gets what they paid for this month, I'll be adding all currently funded art to https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1DMUzjFTBeP_txU1tRi43FxaONDKctoS-?usp=sharing in addition to patreon! This is the same link/folder where psds and linework are being uploaded to right now. After the month is over, the psds and linework will be removed, but funded art from September will be added, regardless of when it gets finished.

(Reminder - as I mentioned in previous updates and my front page, I'll be pausing art production from October through December 2021, but all funded artwork from September will still be completed and uploaded to patreon + the drive ASAP during that time! That said, no new art will be funded from pledges made from October through December, and I will restart production on January 1st, 2022. I may still make art during that time if I'm able, and I'll post updates to patreon and twitter if anything changes.)

Finally - after going over things again, the minimum pledge change from $1 to $2 will be pushed back to December 1, rather than October 1st. Price-per-piece will also be raised a little to fit in line with commissions, since I want to offer comms but also make it fair for everyone. Again, the pledge change will apply to people who are not currently patrons and people who cancel. People currently pledging $1/month will not have to change immediately, but the minimum pledge will become $2 for all patrons in around 6 months or so.  As stated in the August 3 update, "this change is because of the high platform+service fees, which take a big bite out of $1 subscriptions. If my estimates are correct, it's better for you and me if a person pledges $2 every other month instead of $1 every month. More money = more art, so if that's what you're paying for, that's where it should go - not patreon's pocket."

A PSD+linework tier will be coming soon as well - I'll keep you all updated!

Hey all, I'm sorry about last month being a wash in terms of new content. I didn't expect my time to be so sporadic but I should have been more transparent with everyone when things came up. August 29: Hi diddly ho, Patorinos!

I'm hard at work on funded art, but still a bit busier than usual. I'm catching up whenever I can though! A new suggestion piece will be up in a day or two. There's very little left to do so it's just a matter of how soon I can work on it.

The May comic is nearing completion as well - I've been working on it in between monthly art to stay on pace. I'd have finished it by now if one of my files didn't corrupt... Hopefully it'll be worth the weight!

August 3:     I'm letting everyone know that starting October 1, I will be pausing art production until January 01, 2022 (from October through December). There's nothing to be concerned about - I'm happy and healthy right now... but I'd like to keep it that way! I'm going to be extremely busy during those months, so I don't want to promise art I can't deliver. As always, paused production doesn't mean that I won't make art, and if I can start earlier than January, I will.

Any and all funded art not completed by October 1 will still be completed+posted ASAP, but pledges will not count towards guaranteed art until I start production again.

August 3 (part 2): After looking through my pledge amounts and going over the numbers, I have decided to make the minimum pledge for new patrons $2 USD instead of $1, starting in October. This is because of the high platform+service fees, which take a big bite out of $1 subscriptions. If my estimates are correct, it's better for you and me if a person pledges $2 every other month instead of $1 every month. More money = more art, so if that's what you're paying for, that's where it should go - not patreon's pocket. I'm also working out a few more tiers for patrons who want linework, art files, and things like that. I'll post more as I figure it out.

Current $1 patrons can keep their amount as long as they remain subscribed- this change only affects NEW patrons.

July 7:    Finally catching up on art after some unexpected roadblocks from the past couple of weeks. May comic coming soon!

June 2:    Welcome and thank you to everyone! I never expected this many patrons but I'm positively chuffed to see all of you!

As some of you may have noticed, I have updated my FAQ to include a "maximum" amount of funded art for a given month. The limit can and will change based on how much spare time I have,  and I'll always notify you as soon as possible. I'll try to give a few weeks in advance and have it take effect the next month - so everyone gets what they pay for!

Right now, it's 4 pieces/month maximum (reached at $200/month). If we reach the maximum, it does not mean that I'll only make 4 new pieces a month... OR that I'll only make 4 images. The only thing it means is that I can only guarantee 4 new pieces for that month. ("1" funded art piece can be multiple images or even an animation!)

I made 6 pieces in April (no art funded) and ~4 in May (1 piece funded) so more is always possible! If any of you have questions, I'd be happy to answer all of them.

April 11:    I know that it says production is "closed"... but I am still making art. Coronavirus and the frequent kidnappings have made my schedule unpredictable for a short while, so I'd rather post art when I can instead of promise it but have it be delayed. More money means more time for art, even if production is closed!

I am reading suggestions and figuring out how to get the most for everyone... so if you have any patron-creator ideas, you're invited to post them here!
