Character Redesigns - Heian and Iseul Grow Up
Added 2024-08-19 20:45:59 +0000 UTCHere they are! The last of the smols, no longer so smol now that they've had a chance to grow up. Of course, they're still children by human standards, but spirits and elementals age a bit differently.
I really love Heian's new design. Tsuu did an amazing job of representing her weird sort of liminal state between ethereal and physical, and gave her a more mature look while still staying true to her childish attitude and her old design.
Iseul is always a bit tricky, since she's monochromatic. She's a bit clearer now, with better defined features and a more cohesive look. You can really see how she's gotten more comfortable with her shape.
Tsuu will be focusing on the book 8 cover now, while CJ continues her big project, so it may be a while before there are any more art updates. I'm sure they'll be worth the wait!
