I did a talk! At the Peckham Digital festival!
If you would like to watch it, there's a recording of the livestream! I'm there from 42:59 (but only in your left ear)
What an incredible experience that was. It was probably the biggest crowd I've done a coding talk about! And many people from the audience spoke to me afterwards - they were really lovely about the talk.
I was really pleasantly surprised by how there was a lovely mix of people there. A good combo of coders, artists, and everything in between. And a better-than-usual mixture of demographics! I have to give credit to the organisers of the festival and meetup for creating an inclusive event!

For the next video, I've been coding some fish!
The fish are in a physics simulation. They are subject to certain physics rules.
For example:
π They gradually slow down due to water resistance.
π They gradually 'right' themselves when rotated.
And more importantly:
π They grow when they eat a circle.
π They shrink when they eat a square.
And most importantly:
π They split into 2 smaller fish when they get big enough.
Whenever they split, they mutate a little bit. This affects everything about them, like their colour. It also affects their brains! But let's leave that for the video! Which will (by the way) come out before the next TODEPOND TIMES if all goes to plan.
