Sorry for the dirty and poor quality fabric. This uses a lot of fabric and can't bear to waste my more expensive muslin.
The original raincoat uses plastic fabric and glue. Obviously, I can't do the same with this fabric. I use simple seam, then serge the raw edges. Finally, I topstitch most of the seam wherever I can.
I use taffeta fabric as usual for any waterproof garment. The fabric has some transparent property, but this does not show up in usual render (I render in Blender). I actually increased the waist measurement by 14 cm because that is the waist measurement at the location where I want the waistband to sit, which is 4 cm below the narrowest level. Now the waistband is too loose. Probably 5 to 7 cm waist ease is suffice, or none at all if you want to waistband to sit high up.

This is a big failure, I cannot fit the pants to the manikin. Technically, the fit is perfect but I failed to consider the proper waist closure. It will work if the crotch zipper open into the waistline, but it is not. To fix this, the waistband when stretched should be larger than the hip so that the pants can slide into.

A good way to add the stripes in my opinion is to edit the albedo/diffuse textures. You can use any image editing software, but I like to Material Maker because it makes seamless textures. This is my graph.
