Intro
Welcome once again to our bi-monthly newsletter. There has been so much work going on behind the scenes on these sites that we don’t even know where to start this one. Let’s get straight into it!

New translations for track descriptions have been added in 15 languages, including Mandarin, Russian and Hebrew. A big thanks to those who have translated in the past and are currently helping with these! We’ve added the translation stats and lyric charts to the home page, and we are also looking at supporting new features for lyric translations...but we hope to be sharing more on this soon so stay tuned!

If you would like to see a sneak preview of what will soon be possible, have a look at Michael Jacksons 'Bad' Album. Pretty much complete with data and artwork but you can also find lyric translations in many different languages. This is just a test and we are working on licensing to make this feature available for all. You can already translate lyrics on the track page, so why not give it a try?

After adding the option of a 4th fanart inclusion for artist images a couple of months ago, it’s great to see these being added. We are averaging 250-350 edits a day so keep up the good work, we are also closing in on a total million edits. Amazing work from all our contributing editors!

There have been a lot of content additions recently, especially new leagues:

- Many new 1st and 2nd tier soccer leagues from around the world

- New Extreme-E motorsport league with all of the teams and drivers complete

- Japanese and Korean Baseball leagues

- Russian Ice Hockey

- PGA, LPGA and European tour results have been added

As we add some new seasons and teams, we really need the communities help in adding content to complete these, including:

- The new 2021 Major League Baseball season has been imported and teams are underway, but need your support with these

- UCI Cycling teams are in the process of being added. There are lot of riders in each team, so any help from this community to add this content would be greatly appreciated.

We have also improved the Livescore updates, so they should now be every minute instead of two mins.

We have implemented some performance improvements to the API, as we scale for more users, which benefit all current users too.

To celebrate spring, we have added some brightly coloured cocktails such as Pink Moon and Butterfly Effect.

We have also added some new ingredients such as rosé wine for making those Frosés, and coconut liqueur.

And as part our continued effort to have more creative commons licensed images available, some new images have been added.

The same performance improvements made for TheCocktailDB were also rolled out for TheMealDB. And, as always, we have added some new recipes. If you have any suggestions of recipes to add, let us know at thedatadb@gmail.com. We’ve added a whole new bunch of Malaysian recipes this month including some extra ingredients.
