Crowdfunded Ideas You'd like to see completed
Added 2025-03-10 00:21:52 +0000 UTCRegarding the previous post, I want to get some feedback on stories that you'd like to see completed in the future. I'll list the current stories in limbo, and I'll ask you to vote on the ones that you're interested in. Please vote for every story you eventually want to see done so I can get an idea of which ones people are excited for/interested in seeing. If one of the ideas doesn't get a lot of votes, I might take off the WIP and shelve it for the time being. I have a few different ideas for monthly stories going forward, one of which is to work on a particular long story each month until done so you don't have to wait. But for now, your feedback is greatly appreciated!

2025-03-12 17:23:35 +0000 UTCThe stories I am most interrested in are the untiteled alien story -the cabin , because I liked annihilation -the prison and safari story. I would be more inclined to contriubute to stories I would have a cameo in or some other imput. but that is probably hard to do afterwards.

2025-03-11 20:50:08 +0000 UTCpersonally I like working on multiple projects at once, if I get stumoed and come back, I often add to the story from a refreshed perspective and it really adds to the piece

2025-03-11 14:31:55 +0000 UTCI speak of someone who does not have the reward tier of adding words to those stories, but I would prefere to focus one story down, one after another. I do not like the principle of splitting the attention. and I am not writing those stories, but I imagine it is better to focus one story down to stay in the mindset, rather than continuing them piecemeal. but I dont know how exactly you structure those finances, or how you feel about that.

2025-03-10 12:44:32 +0000 UTCand the 2nd problem is that once they go on for too long the interrest dries up and others become more popular. then you end up with multiple unfinished stories and too little to go around.

2025-03-10 11:26:10 +0000 UTCthe problem with crowdfoundet stories is often that, I personally would rather just finance a story for myself. to put it in plain speak. "why should I pay for a story if someone else could do it, and I save for my personal story." that is the thought I always have in my head. I would maybe pay if I had a say in the development in the story or a cameo, but I would not pay beyond the parts I have influence in.

A mix of taking a story that isn't being funded and write till its done, new stories that use people's submitted characters, short stories, themed months where the choices are all around the theme, etc

2025-03-10 01:12:02 +0000 UTCIt's just all the ones that are already works in progress, I'm trying to see if there are any I should purge before adding new ideas, and there will be ones that have more general tf themes to come. The alien planet one will have female characters and a nice array of changes, as an example
