So, I am back to Barcelona. This means: back to the computer and, above all: back to regular posting!

My trip through France and Spain has been beautiful and interesting, but in regard of model photography a big disappointment. Literally nothing worked as I imagined. At least I learned a lot, and I hope, I will do better in future projects.

One more thing I learned is that the way I organized my journey I was not able to fulfil my planned uploads for my Patreon patrons, and I do feel really bad about that (I will make good for it during the next days, I promise).

I mostly stayed two days at one place. That was enough to look around, to wait (for the birds) for models - but it was not enough to find the time to copy some images to the computer, edit them, upload them here. 

The first day I usually arrived late in the afternoon after a long ride. Took a shower, searched for a place to eat something, maybe to wash my clothes, and then I was too tired.

The next day I went looking around at the location, went to cafés waiting for dates that would not take place because the model did not appear, or she appeared with a jealous and sceptical boyfriend, had 20 kilos and 10 years more than in the photos she sent before or had such a bad skin that I could not accept her. I placed ads, uploaded something from the archive to instagram, answered countless emails and whatsapp messages with possible (in the end impossible) models. And then opened the computer, searched for a cheap hotel at the next location (which always took a long time with the slow wifi's)  and then wasn't even able to make a selection of images from my phone to post here.

All this is, I must admit, is only and exclusively my fault.

I already knew about the incredible unreliability of Spanish amateur models, but still I hoped I could achieve it this time. I could not. 

Instead of studying the locations long before, I just drove at a venture and then looked for the next place. Now I know that it does not work that way. And I know that I have to stay longer at each place, so that I can find the time to select and edit images, write my blog, upload here.

Ok. Life is learning. I apologise for the poor performance here in my patreon stream during that time, and I hope you forgive me, especially when you see what will come up during the next days!
