This one took me SO MUCH longer than I thought it was going to. It's hard to draw stuff when the first time you've drawn it is right on the page where it needs to look it's best.

Could I have done studies and practices? Yes. But when, lol.

I've been in the weeds with work and tired as hell, haha. But I'm almost done with some Slipshine pencils to share, I just wanted to wait til at least tomorrow so it doesn't look like I'm rushing content at the end of the month just to get Patreon money.

As usual, none of y'all hurting my feelings if you want/need to cancel Patreon support...

1-page comic for a publication

Finished a 1-page comic I was hired to do for a publication, I'm not super happy with it, but I am so so busy it had to get kinda rushed in a few places.

It's about an experience I had here in Chicago, waking up one day to follow thumping bass to a local music festival that seemed to sprout up out of nowhere. I do love it here.

Dunno if the webcomic will end up being grayscale or color, but I took another break to ink and tone the page.  If I decide on color, it will take no time to slap flats on this. 

Now to tuck this away for... who knows how long. Got work to do.

Last-minute new character design for Starry Knight

I realized that with my rewrites to make Starry Knight tighter and more efficient (and get it done in time easier), I goofed and removed someone from a necessary fight.

But then I remembered that I was missing a few things from the character roster:

Progress, progress. Slowly, slowly! Been FINALLY establishing some routines and schedules and have been picking up pace on 3 different comic projects.

Maybe I was rushing it trying to be "normal" so soon after moving cross country... but whatever, we're here now.

I am creeping towards normalcy and getting back on track on ALL of my concurrent comic projects. Today's job was cleaning up pencils for a scene I changed at the last minute to be shorter and snappier, so I can move on and finally get this chapter slammed shut. Got a deadline, after all.
