Saint-Marcellin (France)

Because I did not want to drive all the distance in one take, I first went only to a town just after the border to France, still at the sea and then searched google maps for another place about in the middle and decided to pass the night in Saint-Marcellin.
Actually I decided for this place because it was the only name I knew: there's a wonderful cheese coming from there. And so I was quite surprised to find a really beautiful small town in a wonderful valley.
I spent a really relaxing night in a guest house in absolute quietness. I was the only guest and the house was outside of town, more or less in the woods.
Coming from Barcelona with it's catastrophically polluted air I slept as good as I haven't since years in the fresh and clean spring air of the French foothills of the Alps.
The next I day I got up with a smile in my face and full of energy.
