until I publish the next series...
I am in the process of editing 128 photos of Silene, my wonderful super-hairy young model. She has what is called "hirsutism" that makes that much more hair than usual grows everywhere on her lovely body. Unfortunately it also makes her skin very sensible and sometimes she suffers of a lot of blemishes and pimples.
Apart of that for her this is very unpleasant, in real life you don't see it that much, because she is moving, you get lost in her pretty eyes, the so very womanly curves of that young girls body, and the marvel of all those fine hairs and the thick, long-haired bush that fascinate and stimulate to touch and caress...
But a photo is different. It doesn't move and all details are in one position without changing, so that the eye can capture everything. The bright light a the contrast increase this effect even more and, of course I don't want to present anatomic photos of skin problems but the seducing beauty. So I must retouch the images, and this takes a long time sometimes....
Now there are very fast ways to retouch as you can see on instagram: you just apply a filter and magically the skin is perfect (better said: there's no skin anymore). There are also programs that promise to remove skin blemishes. But in the end they simply remove/blur the skin with all details, pores, hairs...
So how do I remove the blemishes while the impression of natural skin (and the sexy hairs) remain in the image?
It's not easy and the video I just uploaded for my patrons of motivation-level and up shows the complete process of retouching one image in a real-time screen recording.
It took 25 minutes for this single image. Count 128 x +/- 20 minutes, almost 43 hours, and you already have the explanation why sometimes it takes quite a long time until I am ready to upload the next series for you...
Now I a simply not capable to retouch ten hours a day. The work needs a lot of concentration, especially working on blurred parts of an image is very tiring for the eyes because I must focus on something out of focus. So I need pauses to relax my eyes, do something else, have a coffee... which extends your waiting time even more. Sorry...
If you are one of my patrons who can (and wants to) see the video, you will get aware that making photos isn't just the happy short time of a sexy session and then uploading the images. Apart of the retouching process itself there are other tasks before and after: copying many GB to the computer, making the backups, selecting the images I want to publish from the session, adjusting the colors and contrasts, sometimes cropping or rotating the photo, later resize the retouched versions and safe them as jpg's for publishing, upload them to my gallery and enter them into the data base, upload a preview image to this stream, write a text, backup the final versions...
I am a one man company and do all this myself. Of the session I am now retouching there remain approx. 30 images more to be finished, so it will take another time until I can upload the series for you. I am sorry for that long time, I can't do it faster, but especially in this case I am quite sure that waiting time is worth it.
