Even if retroactive, I can use this as evidence against the doubters I've met. This power of Will bypasses Logias and certain other Devil Fruits by the same logic. And I agree Rayleigh intended Luffy to learn through observing and losing, as he isn't the type to "study theory." Just as Future Sight is the term for Advanced Observation, what Hyogoro, Sentomaru, and Rayleigh used is Advanced Armament, capable of no-contact damage.
