For me the fingers moves to the side and can't even make a fist without the fingers bending out to the side

I would totally accept your recommendation since I'm still new to a lot of this and still learning about materials. I usually just use whatever is available from game files - so I'll use normal maps when they're available. I always just assume that those downloading these models probably have their own way of setting up materials in Daz - no doubt way more experienced than me. I'm basically just providing a base. I personally make a lot of adjustments depending on what I'm rendering so they change all the time but that's what I love about Daz - you can make changes and experiment and then you can still go back to that base model if things go awry. Thanks for the suggestion!

HIs skin is a bit shiny, and it looks like he doesn't have any normal maps for his skin. I can recommend a tool thats fantastic for generating support maps for shaders, if you need it. Iray shaders should always have normal maps and roughness maps, to make the surface look realistic.
