And I'd like to take a moment and celebrate my first chair tie in years. It's not as easy as it used to be to find good chairs for tying in hotel rooms. Most only have desk chairs, which are okay, but not really my favorite. The only problem with this chair is that it was too low for me to do the kind of tie I wanted. All I want is the perfect chair...
This video has a more dramatic vibe to it. I really like filming videos in this manner. It's not hard to do, but it requires the one thing I don't have much of during a shoot: Time.
I would really like it if I could just spend an entire making just one video. But there's really no good reason to do that. At least not as long as money is a factor.
This was also my first time using jute rope. From what little I know about jute rope, the kind I had wasn't actually very good. But I really liked using it. Felt really good to tie with and I can certainly see the appeal. Since making this video I've actually bought some better quality rope, but I think I'll still be using this on occasion.
All other things aside, this entire shoot with Bella was so much fun. She's such a character, and I could make an entire video of just bloopers with her.
