"Fuck You - A Basketball Manga" - inking style tests

I was pretty happy with the concepts so far but I hadn't really hit on exactly how the comic would look in print with the inking style. What I had previously was more of a loose pencil/color pencil/marker style - but here I've been doing my best to channel a classic manga style akin to Inoue Takehiko. I'm going for this approach because I want this to feel very authentic but throw a curve ball with all the subject matter of the comic and how over the top it is, I think the semi-realistic manga style will be the funniest approach as far as contrast goes.
But yeah, I'm really happy with these, I think this will be the manga's style and will hopefully only improve with more time executing pages and concepts.

Its very inspiring to see you take on such a ridiculous project. It breaks the idea the "good artists do this" stuff. I really enjoy that you go out on a whim and make things you enjoy. Hentai Garfield will always be one of my favourite things you've done.
