Melinoë - steps, PSD, print

Hope you're having a good day! Last night I wrapped this portrait up of Melinoë from the upcoming Hades II - I've been really enjoying my time with Hades, only about 5-6 hours in so far but loving it. The art by Jen Zee is just beautiful, I tried my best with the illustration to incorporate a bit of their heavy use of black this portrait so it felt similar to the game art.
The first 6 steps of the step by step above are done in Krita with the Chrome brushes, color fills/textures are done in Photoshop - the rim lighting in step 10 are done in Krita as well. I had actually tried to use my normal style with this character at first but had to go back over and change up my whole approach as it was not very applicable w/the game's look.

Amazing that you could just bang out something of this quality in such little time. Really impressive stuff. Enjoy Hades, it's one of the best games I've ever played.
