Here's the latest inked piece I did - this one was inked and sketched in Krita and colored in Photoshop - the highlights for the sharper side lighting were also done in Krita. Please download the PSD to see all layers used for this one, those go way further in depth into the process than the steps above.

2023-05-11 03:40:39 +0000 UTCHey Dave, this is a question unrelated to this post. I once saw you use a grid in one of your videos that seemed to serve as a composition guide. It wasn't rule of third or any of the other standard ones. It was a box the same size as your canvas, but smaller, centered in the middle, so that it would indicate a certain amount of space between the edge of the canvas and that box. Then there were lines indicating the middle of each and some other guide lines. It looked super useful, but I can't find the video anymore! Do you have any idea what I'm talking about and do you know where I could find it? Sorry for the long convoluted question! I hope all is well.

I only have clip studio on my ipad and would like to see how you'd use it to paint something like that. No need to make a super finished piece or anything, just a quick thing if you find time.
