Self-serving people in power? Well, I NEVER!
The most difficult part of this comic was simply Prince Elliot expressing his feelings in panel two. I didn't want it to feel like he was shifting the entirety of the conversation to be all about himself.
He is talking about himself, sure, but I think what's there is plenty reasonable. I may or may not have written an early version that was pretty much exactly what I was trying to avoid. Granted, when I wrote that, I didn't know it was a thing I was trying to avoid. It was after I read it again later and said "oof" that I realized I wanted to avoid it.
