Strategic Feline Planning
Step 1: See a bird. Step 2: Make sounds that totally sound like a bird. Step 3: Catch bird.
Making this comic was legitimately helpful, and I really should do more brainstorming like this just in general.
I think an issue some people have when brainstorming (me, I have this issue) is that they're overly concerned with the quality of what's brainstormed, but like, just toss it out there. Don't treat it like a joke, but it's not even a rough draft. It's a rough draft of ideas that might become the basis for plans that could then be refined into the basis for a rough draft.
Ideas you're not sure about can totally be on there, particularly since they might lead to other trains off thought that will pay off (assuming the original idea isn't better than first thought).
