NO. SHAME ON YOU, HYPOTHETICAL PERSON I JUST MADE UP! You are nitpicking the letter, and not the spirit, of what's being said.
Granted, you may only be doing that because you're used to matters with the fae necessitating being EXTRA CAREFUL about the letter of what's being said, but that's not the case here, I assure you. Hope is legitimately just saying things about kindness, fairness, and generosity.
I don't know if this is preachy? Maybe it's preachy. Writing it anyway, this is a fairy tale, there's gonna be messages and junk!

The problem with privelege is not that Cindertedda gets a boost. The problem is that everyone else doesn't get that boost. That is NOT a reason to disallow a boost to Cindertedda. And resources do not extend to providing it for everyone.
