Omg I totally agree, the on again off again will they wonโt they trope is so stupid and over done and never seems genuine. We TOTALLY feel the hope AND hopelessness of their situation ๐ฅน

2023-01-11 17:46:00 +0000 UTCI just want to say I really appreciate how aware you are of the socioeconomic/class issues this show addresses. I feel like a lot of other reactors judge Simon too harshly for some of his actions, when-to me-they are the result of him struggling to climb from one station to another. It shows that a lot of times, poor people don't have the luxury of doing things 'the right way' to make a name for themselves. That's why for me, although I sympathized with Wille in season one, I was more on Simon's side, I guess. I thought the breakup scene was both mature and heartbreaking, and more nuanced than most 'on-again, off-again' tv couples are.
