Small Author Update.

Hello! To anyone wondering, I am not dead. I'm merely sick with what seems to be an infection or something a bit more serious. Bad health runs in my family, so I prob should have seen this coming, but it is what it is. Currently in pain and might need surgery if this gets worse, but I somewhat doubt that outcome. Regardless, I know you guys have been patient in the past, but I still feel the need to apologize for the lack of activity.

Sorry again, and I'm still writing, just... slowly.

Edit as of 12/19/22: Hello. I'm currently being bounced around doctors and treatment while taking a whole bunch of pills and stuff, and if I don't get better I'll probably go into surgery so they can check inside me what's wrong. It's nothing life-threatening, thankfully, just extremely draining and unpleasant, but that's as much detail as I'm willing to share.

Apologies again. :) My genetics hate me :D

Edit as of 2/5/2023: Doing much better. I've been surprisingly busy while recovering, working on some things to do with Fleabag and publishing. I'll be back very soon, assuming all goes well. The issue isn't completely fixed, but it's one of those things that aren't worth getting into surgery over at this point, so I'm just waiting for it to pass while doing whatever I can.

Currently fixing two things, which is my PC that rattles like a jet engine and turns my monitor off at random, and employment, which my health issue impacted.

Patreon money actually paid all my medical bills, because I live in EU so the prices are pretty normal, so thank you all very much. You guys saved me and my family a lot of grief. I should be back soon. :)

Hey everyone. Surprisingly, I'm still alive, and the sudden onslaught of work/problems immediately after I got cleared from the hospitals has shrunk quite a lot.

I got back in school, PC upgrade is done so my PC isn't dying every 30 minutes, my family/medical issues are pretty much done, my injury is in a perpetual "i can always feel it but it's not hurting too much so idk I guess im fine?" state, which is better but not great.

The main thing taking up my time at the moment is still running around for paperwork.

Won't get into detail, but me being in school doesn't mean the like six different agencies in my country know about it, so i have to run around submitting and doing paperwork for another week or two to get my gov benefits for being in my situation + being a student :^)

Being an adult in a technologically backwards paper-based bureaucracy does indeed suck.

On Fleabag related news, I've worked out an audiobook deal with Podium and been somewhat involved in its production, but in my brain that's more paperwork than actual writing. Quite pleased with the guy that's going to be voicing things. :)

Having this long extended break from writing also helped me take a step back and look at the story as a whole with a more complete view as well as better plan out some things, so while getting back into it after a long break feels a bit overwhelming, I'm fairly confident I'll be able to get the story to smoothly roll forward into something even more interesting.

Won't spoil, but I've chosen a somewhat unconventional path for the future so the following chapters will be a bit divisive, I think. But what's the fun in doing something predictable? Hopefully won't turn off too many people.

ETA on my return: Don't know, but I've felt well enough/had enough time to write half of CH58 this week. Should be back soon-ish? I hope.
