I'm halfway through this shorter animation, pretty everything looks ok right now, even though I had to do some heavy modeling work 😢
Currently rendering a first video preview to check the animation, I was a little worried because I'm using a new, much harder approach on which I have no experience. Fortunately, no major problem has occurred, and it all looks better than usual. Among many, the proper main goal is to make another step toward getting rid of the "artificial" look the previous animations had (which has progressively softened, I'll have to admit). I tried a bunch of methods, but at the end of the day there's no shortcut: to have credible movements, you gotta take care of the subtle stuff ahah
This animation will have a triple camera for the ehm...highlights. I will ask you if this has to stay for the future once the video is out
As usual the pic represent an "alpha" state of work: expecially some materials, they might change (not a fan of that ground)
I'm also obviously working on the other models. About that, I figured out that stylized characters (not an expert, but think of LoL, Paladins, OW) are much more better looking than any "realistic" counterpart. I do believe I'll follow that way for OCs 👼
