Sorry for the wait, it took a tad longer than expected; apparently a €700 GPU has to take 12h to render this dumbass of a scene ahah (jokes aside, it's up to the skin shader 😴)
This video is a little unprompted, I wanted to check how fast I could actually animate a small scene, but the abovementioned difficulties in the rendering phase have kind of defeated the purpose lol
The Elf is a recycled model (the "generic™" selection 🤣), the gal is a first iteration of many that will presumably come in the future, and its part of common "project" whose feasibility I'm assessing together with another creator (you'll know better in the future, eventually).
The scene itself was fun to create hehe, could have been done better but there was a series of issues that basically hindered the polishing phase. The intricate hairstyle of the gal's model was a problem and couldn't find a proper solution to avoid all compenetrations, so I'm sorry but there a little amount we shall accept ahah
Being "homemade" models (I also rushed them), they were always bound to be imperfect. Among many things, I forgot to scale the size x10 before rigging, which created issues later on. Apparently, for some reason, blender doesn't handle well small measures, so everything must be (counter-intuitively) gigantic, even for the software's metrics, if you want physics and lighting to run smooth and as intended. Having left them models at normal size, the light had some glitches that required various adjustments (physics was ok).
TLDR: production was fast, could have been slightly better in one or two things, models are not perfect because rigged by me and this all was mostly a test to check a few things. Some imperfection here and there is the consequence. I moved on because it's a one-off test video.
Psylocke's video is coming this month or a few days later: in any case, SAME LINK so you have access if you subbed for the month (when I started working on the animation, basically) 😉

Oh hey! No that's pretty normal around here ahah the rule is: you may not hear from me but I'm working on the next file. Basically I really do have a strict schedule and if I write I take time from blender, so I prefer to update at the begin and near the release. I will update tomorrow possibly :) it's rendering time tonight ahah but it's just a preview to check a few things on the Psylocke's vid. Thank you for checking in, see you tomorrow!
