JKXR - EA Build 1.1.4

Hello Patrons!

This is the build several of you have been waiting for, especially those who took the leap-of-faith and installed the PTC v53 firmware on your Quest 2 / Quest Pro (understandable, the local dimming on the Pro does look like it's probably rather nice!) and discovered that JKXR would crash on start-up.

Unable to sleep at night, we did the same to our Quest 2s and fortunately have found the source of the issue (an un-initialised 'next' pointer on an OpenXR structure for those that are interested) and a relatively simple fix and it is running just as well on the v53 firmware as it did on previous versions.

However this isn't the only change, here's the full change-log:

Fix v53 Firmware causing JKXR to crash
Fix the black screen on certain levels when looking in certain directions
Fix the black screen when enemies use their cloaking devices
Prevent the special "Kata" attack being triggered when trying to throw the saber in first person, this was the cause of the player moving forward apparently randomly
Make saber throwing at force level 1 in JKA work the same as JKO (i.e. properly motion controlled direction)
Added haptic feedback to JKA when burning scorch marks on objects

Hopefully this will allow you to progress your games (particularly on the levels where it would black-out entirely almost at random). Next up we'll be looking at some of the vehicles like the speeder bikes (and the secret TIE Fighter!).. and there's plenty more bugs (insta-death in 1st person being one of them) to resolve.
