Crafting: The Third Look, Enchanting trickles in.

So this has currently the absolute bear bones of enchanting, definitely a WIP, just some samples as I start to dig into it.

It also has a prototype of a javascript based solution to endless tables I'm playing around with; right now that part is just a tech demo to see if I could make it work in GMBinder; I don't know if that will be included in the final or not; that is a lot of work to make, but something I wanted to play around with; might to be too ambitious for the current scope of the project, but I thought it was a neat idea. I'm not a javascript programmer (at least I refused to put that on my resume, because I'm not fond of it as a programming language :) ) but it's all that would really work inside of GMBinder docs. Obviously it won't work in PDFs.

So this will be the 3 branches it launches with, but there's a ton of work left. I would expect it to be ready for a real playtest version early next month.

Major steps left:

That's the general gameplan anyway; as always, feel free to let me know any thoughts or feedback.

I don't think the division of labor is that clear; I think blacksmithing can make a magic sword, and I think enchanting can make a magic sword, and enchanting and blacksmithing can make a cooler magic sword. My thought is that for the +1 level at least, either can make a +1 sword with different methods; but a +2 is much easier to make by an enchanter enchanting a +1 sword made by blacksmithing, as the quality of the craftsmanship matters as well as the enchantment placed on it. To me it makes sense that both skilled blacksmiths and skilled enchanters reach the same end product in some cases.

That's the traditional lore power of Adamantine weapons (that the break other weapons). I like the idea of incorporating it, so that's what we are going with for now, but it may see some tweaks in playtesting and balance :)

To be more on topic - is the intention to eventually use blacksmithing for magic weapons and armour and enchanting for wondrous items? That seems to be the case but I wanted to clarify. Looks good though!

I know this is the enchanting release, but I just caught how crazy good Adamantine is. Depending on the setting, that is pretty significant power to destroy a weapon or armour per crit!
