Bonus Panel - Sleepy & Drive

Hey all!! I've got some more comic insights for you guys! I've been really busy with school and working on my short film, so I haven't been posting comics as regularly. I hope that's alright!

95 - Sleepy
This comic!! This comic!!!!!!!! I've had this comic (and a load of other Kip and Mason comics in this same vein) sitting in my drafts for literal years now, and I decided to finally sit down and start hacking away at them. With this comic, I wanted to try to push the colors really far outside my comfort zone, since I don't usually like working with purples or very saturated colors. I'm not sure how successful this ended up being (and it's gonna be a nightmare to print), but I like that I tried something new! Mason's also wearing the same dress from Flower, which I thought was a cute little detail. There's not too much going on with this comic, so I don't have too much to say!

96 - Drive
Kip and Duncan!! I've wanted to pair these two up for a long time! A lot of the cast of Duncan and Eddie is very separated, mostly having ties between either Duncan or Eddie, so I thought it might be a little more interesting to try to start showing more sides of these two! The next few comics are going to be between Kip and Duncan, so I hope you all are looking forward to that! I also think that Kip and Duncan are really fun mirrors of each other, since they're both pretty similar archetypes, being pretty passive characters that are total romantics, with Kip being more shy and Duncan being more air-headed. (Fun fact, you can swap the characters in a lot of the older comics and they'll still read completely fine) As for the comic itself, I wanted to put Duncan in a cute little formal outfit again, but this time with a cute little vest and short sleeves. I meant to put sunglasses on the top of his head, but I totally forgot. Also, he's still driving his red car from the closeted comics from two years back! I think I've gotten a lot better at drawing cars and their interiors since then, although I really wish I'd darkened the windows in the first two panels. Beyond that, I'm super happy with how these two came out!! :D
