Chapter 560 (No Lewd)

The lewd portion is separated in another post so you can just avoid it if you don’t care. As always, no plot relevancy is in the lewd parts.

I woke up feeling refreshed.
As I normally do after spending the night with one of my girls.
I couldn’t find the blanket; I think it disappeared at some point during the night. At one point, we sort of finished, and we were getting ready to go to sleep, but then little Wilhelm decided it wanted an encore.
These sheets are definitely going to need to get washed.
I couldn’t help myself; I looked at Salem’s magnificent behind and put a hand on it.
Mine.
This was now mine.
“Don’t you dare start again.” Salem grunted. “I can’t even feel my rear right now. I don’t know if I can even walk straight, you lecherous bastard.” Salem grumbled from her pillow. She moved slightly and groaned. “I’ve never been this sore before; I hope you’re happy.” She hissed.
“More than you can imagine.” I replied, my eyes never leaving her behind.
She grabbed a nearby pillow and started hitting me with it. “Out, get out! I need to shower, and my behind won’t be able to handle you again so soon, and I know you wouldn't keep your hands to yourself!”
Fair, I wouldn’t.
“Can I get a kiss goodbye at least?” I asked.
Her hitting stopped, and she turned over to meet my eyes. She pursed her lips and gave one of her cute huffs. She grabbed me by the arm and pulled me closer, kissing me abruptly. Though it did carry with it a certain affection, even as she immediately pushed me out of bed.
“Now, get out!” She scowled, trying to get out of bed herself, and her legs trembled as she tried to stand up, nearly falling over before she caught herself.
I admit, I really did a number on her.
No regrets, no apologies.
Though, realistically, I know she must have been feeling a lot of mixed emotions right now. Regret, I doubt, was one of them, but she had been alone for a very long time.
While she had acknowledged us as being together and even doing some lewd activities, it was the first time we had gone this far. So she probably just needed some time alone to gather her thoughts on everything.
I snuck up behind her, wrapping my arms around her stomach before she could protest and giving her another kiss on the cheek. “I just want you to know that my life is better with you in it.”
I felt her relax a bit, and perhaps, there was even a glimpse of tenderness in her eyes. “You may return in a bit. I have unfinished business to take care of, so I will require your assistance.”
I smiled and kissed her cheek one more time.
Then, I gave her butt a spank.
She let out a squawk, and I felt a burst of magic whiz past my head as I grabbed my clothes off the ground and quickly disappeared from her bedroom.
I just smiled as I jumped through a portal and started falling through the air.
I had let myself out rather high up, and I just let out a sigh of contentment.
There really was no better way to fix one’s mood.
I hit a body of water rather aggressively, though with my constitution, it felt like the equivalent of hitting my knee on the desk by accident despite hitting the water after having fallen a few hundred feet.
Still, ow.
I floated back up to the surface, letting the sun hit my face, and I took out a bar of soap and started washing myself.
Seawater was not the best source of cleaning water, but I could just make up for it with magic. Honestly, I just needed to scrub the smell away, and then I would be good.
And it definitely woke me up properly.
There's nothing like taking a cold dip in the ocean.
I called out my ship and shot up onto the deck after I was done. Fishing out a towel, I made sure to dry myself off before using a bit of magic to finish it off.
And of course, I put on some clean clothes.
All refreshed!
I took out my platter of coffee supplies and had a cup of hot coffee in my hands moments later. I rarely take the time to appreciate how convenient magic really is. I don’t even have to brew my coffee; it’s always sitting in my storage, hot and ready to go.
There’s nothing like watching the waves and drinking coffee in the morning.
I looked up at the sky, humming to myself. “Heimdal.” I called out, knowing that the God of Asgard would immediately notice me upon calling his name. “If you wouldn’t mind, when Jeanne wakes up, if she’s not up already or at your convenience, can you tell her that Salem is going to be around? And that when she’s ready to go home, she just has to give me a call?”
I wasn’t expecting a response; it was just a way to word it politely.
“Thank you.” I gave a casual wave to the air. Heimdal seemed like a nice guy; there was no reason not to be impolite. In fact…. I made another cup of coffee and sent it over through a portal. I intentionally do so as quickly as possible to not make his position awkward, considering Odin was all, ‘And don’t come back, blah blah.’
Technically, I didn’t go back; I just tossed a mug of perfect coffee his way.
I stood up and stretched, looking out across the deck of my ship.
I originally came to this world for a couple of specific purposes. One was to obtain vibranium to smelt into my Greed sword so I could help it make its next step forward. I have the vibranium; the issue now is a furnace capable of smelting it.
The Sky Forge might be able to do that back in Skyrim. A backup might be the Goblins themselves. Their so-called goblin silver is no ignorable creation either. They might very well have their own ability to smelt Vibranium despite it being magically resistant.
So, that’s basically one goal accomplished. The other goal was the Mystic Code I was going to craft that I kept putting off.
I took out each of my swords and put them on the deck.
Mirage.
Whisper.
Dawnbreaker.
Ascalon.
Greed.
Sword of Destruction.
I briefly thought about my Divine Sword too, but that would be an entirely different headache to make work.
I looked at my swords blankly for a few minutes, just admiring my treasures. My dragon instincts bubble to the surface at the most random of times.
Then, I took out the wooden sword that Meridia helped me create from the branch of the Fae Mother Tree.
It was brimming with life energies, and with Meridia’s help, it had been elevated a level as well. It was a wonderful material to craft anything with, and any Magi back home would kill to acquire it.
I started by drawing a string of Runes across the flat of it. I hadn’t set them in yet; it was more like…just tracing them on top to see how it would go.
I was somewhat mimicking the Runes I saw on Thor’s Mjolnir. The distribution of power somehow even affected a divine being like Thor, able to bestow it upon someone else.
That was useful.
Granted, I only need part of the entire sequence, which was a trial in and of itself to pick out the useful pieces and still make it work.
I set it down and paced around it.
With a wave of my hand, the Runes dissipated, and I frowned, knowing that wouldn’t work.
I was mentally going over hundreds of Rune sequences in my head, but I realized that all of them would fall short.
At the base of the Mystic Code—essentially a spell in physical form—it’s an illusion.
In fact, it’s extremely similar to Gradation Air. My thoughts fell onto a certain red-headed Magus kid from my inherited memories. Unfortunately, I don’t have a Reality Marble to sustain being able to project things like Noble Phantasms.
However, the end result is very similar to what I want.
I hit my open palm with my other hand. “What if I create a false world within the sword?”
Hoh, it’s certainly a thought. But how?
The immediate issue is the ‘world’ will try to crush it if I create a ‘False World’. It doesn’t even require the Unconscious will back home. Some things are fundamental parts of reality. It would be like a void in the eyes of the world, and the world despises voids and does its best to fill them immediately, often to the detriment of anything around it.
The Kabbalah.
The Four Cardinal Directions.
I took out the Spear, eyeing it. I gave it a little flick. “I need your help, if you can hear me. Just give me the tiniest bit of juice to help me set this in.”
I didn’t wait for it to respond, but on the back of the sword, I began to carve in the symbols for the Four Angels that represented the four Cardinal Directions. I couldn’t very well wield Holy Power normally, so actualizing this bit was a bit more difficult.
I noticed the Spear reacted; that’s good.
The Four Archangel symbols lit up.
Then, on the other side, I carved in the Four Divine Beasts that represented the Four Directions in Eastern Philosophy, however, I reversed them.
This part was much easier for me to do, I was fairly skilled in Onmyōji.
Right as it stands now, this thing is volatile. The two contradictory concepts would go haywire if they were actualized. Combined with the life energy inside this thing, it would turn into a rather impressive bomb.
Now was the harder part.
Very carefully, and with a prick of my finger, I began to write the Primordial Rune of ‘World’ onto the sword.
Technically, that’s not what the Primordial Rune meant, but it didn’t translate perfectly to human languages. Primordial Runes were difficult to utilize; it’s why I always relegated them to a supportive role in everything else. However, their power and ability could never be underestimated.
Just a simple actualization of one could have profound effects. Like when I utilized the Primordial Rune of Truth fighting against Aizen. That was the most simplistic and blunt use of it, yet it was still extremely powerful.
Primordial Runes were cheats, in a way. They were like back doors to certain concepts ingrained in reality.
With the Primordial Rune set, I then began to write the correct Runic Sequence. It would connect everything and essentially map the spell and Mystic Code to the parameters that I wanted.
To copy and distribute. To make illusionary into the real. To duplicate many times over.
It must have taken me over an hour. And I had sweat dripping down my brow as I finished connecting the hundreds of Runes that now covered this thing.
Frankly, I don’t know if it could even be called a Mystic Code. It was more literally the physical embodiment of a spell rather than a magical item.
Still, I think it was ready to test.
I picked up Mirage, and held it in one hand and the wooden sword in the other.
I threw out Mirage, then I threw out the wood sword. “Empher –” I was about the chant the full spell until something unintentional happened.
I may have made a small mistake.
The wooden sword fell into the water and began to sink.
I essentially just tossed it into the water.
I forgot to refine it properly so I could mentally control it like my other swords.
The realization of what just happened dawned on me fully after a few moments. That and I heard Ddraig start laughing at me from inside my soul.
“Fuck!” I quickly jumped into the water to swim after it.
@***@
I jumped back up onto the boat, soaked, but now holding my wooden sword again.
It was wet.
I was wet.
And cold now.
I quickly took out the enchanting table that I had used on all my other weapons and sat the wooden sword down. With a bit of my blood, I began the process of binding it to me properly. It wasn’t particularly difficult, just annoying, all things considered.
Shit, after doing this like 10 times, I could be called an expert.
There was no magic timer that dinged to let me know it was done. I just about got a mental grasp of it and flicked my fingers up, and it listened.
Alright, let’s try this again.
Mirage was thrown up, and I tossed up the wooden sword too.
“Ethereal Armory—Mirage.” The two sides of the wooden sword roared to life. Two mystical concepts indicating the four directions converged and ground against one another. The two contradictions produced an anomaly—a paradox. North was South, and East was West.
The Primordial Rune actualized, and the runes across the blade further ignited.
A small world was created, contained, and hidden within it.
Mirage crossed over the Wood Sword, and a thousand lights shimmered around me and burst into existence.
A thousand copies of Mirage appeared in the sky.
Every single one of them is a near-perfect copy, bar the power of their existence. That, and I noticed the Eye of Magnus wasn’t present except in a…facsimile that lacked the true existence of the absurd object. Basically a hollow copy, a true hollow copy even when compared to the fact that they were illusions.
Each of the copies, I couldn’t even say they had ten percent of the original’s power.
An illusion, that’s all they were. Basically a solid illusion.
By tricking the world through a paradox and turning the wooden sword into a small fake world, Mirage could be replicated inside of it without running into the normal snags.
My excitement died down because I felt an extreme wave of exhaustion hit me all at once.
Note to self, copying one of my swords consumes a lot of energy, not just Magical Energy.
I had to let out a breath and steady myself because the sudden drain nearly made me fall over.
I would need to test my other swords, but as it stands, this was pretty damn good. It was a great way to increase the power of my swords.
Quantity can do things that quality can’t sometimes.
I raised a finger to the sky, and all the copies of Mirage jerked and turned at my command, and they pointed upwards.
At the same time, they all fired a very, very weak Ether Cannon.
A barrage of rainbow lights shot upwards, and I grinned like an idiot.
I intentionally made the shots weaker there; I didn’t want to cause too big of a commotion. Still, at their best, they can’t even generate a fifth of the same amount of Magical Energy that my real Mirage can when pulling from parallel worlds to cast Ether Cannon.
However, a thousand of them firing off at once has its own merit.
Now, I just need to find some things to kill.
That train of thought was put on pause because I felt my Kaleidophone buzzing in my storage. I quickly took it out to see I had a new message, and I felt a wave of happiness surge up.
Yasaka and they finally were back home.
I could put the testing on hiatus for now because I missed them all and wasted no time heading back home.

A/N
Wilhelm completes the Wooden Sword; basically, it copies one of his other swords a thousand times or so. Each one is significantly weaker than the original, but there’s a certain merit to having a shit ton of them at once.
Fun story Earlier today, I was working on the chapter , then my power went out. Turns out, an animal got on the power lines during a bad storm and knocked out power for several hundred houses around me. It took like six hours to get it back up, fun time.

Oh, god, that was funny. Finished another legendary blade, promptly throws it into the ocean because he forgot one very minor yet critically important bit. I was with Ddraig on this one, laughing my ass off when I read that part! I mean, at this point he's pretty much the anti-Vivane. Making swords and tossing them into bodies of water, as opposed to making them and throwing them OUT of bodies of water....

Unfortunately, I don’t have a Reality Marble to sustain being able to project things like Noble Phantasms. Pretty sure that you made it clear that Shirou doesn't exist in his world.
